Pengembangan Media Qubue (Quiet Book ) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf E Dan Huruf U Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun
Abstract
This study was initiated by the limited proficiency of children aged 4–5 years in recognizing vowels, specifically the letters 'e' and 'u'. The predominance of conventional media in the learning process has led to low engagement and lack of active participation among children. Consequently, there is a critical need for innovative and appealing instructional media tailored to early childhood characteristics. This research aims to develop a feasible Qubue (Quiet Book) media designed to enhance the recognition of the letters 'e' and 'u' for children aged 4–5 years at TKIT Wildani 2 Surabaya. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE model, this study involved media and material experts, as well as data collection through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings demonstrate that the Qubue (Quiet Book) media achieved a 'highly feasible' category, as validated by media and material experts, as well as through direct trials with the children.
