PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL HURUF ABJAD KELOMPOK A1 TAMAN KANAK-KANAK DHARMA WANITA BADAS

Abstract

Penelitian pada anak kelompok A1di Taman Kanak-Kanak Dharma Wanita Badas dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan anak bidang bermain peran dalam mengenal huruf abjad. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru selalu menggunakan model pembelajaran klasikal untuk kegiatan bermain peran. Hampir setiap hari kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu menulis huruf pada kotak kecil, menulis angka dan kegiatan lain berupa kegiatan mewarnai gambar. Dalam kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad di TK Dharma Wanita dari 15 anak yang mampu mengenal huruf abjad hanya 5 yang ditandai dengan anak kurang memperhatikan pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuktikan apakah ada pengaruh metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad pada  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre- eksperimendan desain penelitian one group pre test-post test. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dengan alat penilaian berupa lembar observasi ,dokumentasi. Teknik data menggunakan statistik non parametrik uji jenjang bertanda Wilcoxon (wilcoxon match pairs test) dengan rumus T hitung< T tabel jika T hitung< T tabel maka penelitian ini signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, data tentang kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad menunjukkan data pretest 146dan post test 187 hasil uji jenjang Wilcoxon bahwa T tabel adalah 120. Jika T hitung< T tabel (0<25) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, diketahui bahwa nilai T hitung< T tabel. Sehingga hasil penelitian dapat disimpilkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad kelompok A1 TK Dharma Wanita Badas.

Abstract A group of research on children in kindergarten Dharma Wanita Badas Kediri motivated by the lack of ability of the Child can name letter sounds, able to mimic the letter, the letter mentions capable, able to trace the letters. This is due almost every day activities done is to write letters on a small box, write the number and other activities such as coloring a picture. Ability to recognize letters of the alphabet in kindergarten Dharma Wanita d of 15 children were able to recognize letters Abja only 5 are marked with the child's lack of attention to the lessons presented by the teacher. Method of playing a role objectives of this study is to prove whether there is influence of method of playing a role in the ability to recognize letters of the alphabet The data collecting method is observation. The observation sheet is used as the instrument.The data analysisi technique used is non parametric statistic, wilcoxon match test. The data analysisi is about the ability to recognize the number consept from the primary observation (pre test) and final observation after applying the role play (post test). Based on the wilcoxon match pairs test, T count = 0. It is smaller than T table. T table is 25 the decision is : Ha is accepted because t count is smaller (0>25) and Ho is rejected because T count > T table (0>25). The conclusion of the research shows that role play method affects significantly the A1 group children’s ability in recognizing the alphabet at Dharma Wanita Badas kingdergarden Kediri. It proves that the learning process by using role play method can help the children in understanding the children’s knowledge in their cognitive skill development, especially in their ability to recognize the alphabet.
