PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA FLIP CHART TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA ANAK KELOMPOK B TK DHARMA WANITA TRAWAS

Abstract

Guru memiliki peranan penting sebagai pendidik anak terutama untuk mengasah kemampuan anak khususnya kemampuan berbicara. Guru harus menggunakan media pembelajaran untuk membantu anak belajar. Media yang digunakan harus menarik, sesuai dengan isi materi pembelajaran dan mengandung nilai informasi yang bisa mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara anak. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan peneliti, terdapat 50% anak yang mengalami masalah dan kekurangan dalam kemampuan berbicara. Fakta tersebut dapat dilihat dalam keseharian anak yang terbata-bata saat mengucapkan kalimat. Penyebab masalah tersebut dikarenakan, ketidaksesuaian media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Untuk itu, peneliti memperkenalkan dan menggunakan media baru yaitu media flip chart. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media flip chart terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Trawas Mojokerto.  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pre-experimental design dengan jenis one group pretest-postest. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 14 anak kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistis non-parametris dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon match pairs test dengan rumus Thitung  Ttabel. Jika Thitung  Ttabel maka penelitian ini signifikan adanya dua variabel. Berdasarkan hasil data pre-test diperoleh rata-rata skor 11,1 dan dari data post-test diperoleh rata rata skor 18,4. Perhitungan uji jenjang bertanda Wilcoxon diperoleh bahwa nilai Thitung = 0 dan nilai Ttabel adalah 21 dengan taraf signifikansi 15%. Jika Thitung < Ttabel (0 < 21) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan media flip chart terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Trawas diterima.

Abstract

The teacher have the important effect to teach children specially to improve the ability in speech. The teacher must using the media learning to help the children learn. The media that using must be attractive,suitable with the content learning and had information value that can increase the children ability in speech. Based on the observation, there are 50% children that have a problem in speech ability. This fact seen by the children daily activity which have a problem while their speaking. The problem caused by the uncorrect media learning that used. So that the observer introduce flip chart as the new media learning. The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of the use of flip charts media to the ability in speech the second student in Dharma Wanita Trawas Kindergarten of Mojokerto Regency.

This study used a pre - design study experimental design with type one group pre-test and post test, The technique used in data collection type of participant observation. Subject in this observation as much as 14 children in the group B Dharma Wanita Trawas Kindergarten of Mojokerto Regency. Data analysis technique used is to use a non- parametric statistical test using the Wilcoxon match pairs test with t < t tabl, and that observation show the different of two variable

Based on the results of the calculation for pre-test data scor is 11,1 and from the post-test data scor is 18,4. The statistical test using the Wilcoxcon gel t scor is 0 and ttable scor is 21 with significant 15%. The study was obtained t < t table (0 < 21). The research hypothesis is effect the use of flip charts media to the ability speech in the second students Dharma Wanita Trawas Kindergarten accepted.
