Implementasi Program Unggulan Tahfidz Al-Qur’an terhadap Perkembangan Nilai Moral Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the flagship tahfidz program on the moral development of 5–6-year old children at RA Lukman Al Hakim in Surabaya, as well as to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of the tahfidz program’s implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research subjects were students in Group B, as well as teachers, the principal, and the head of the institution as informants. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis conducted through reduction, presentation, and drawing of conclusions, as well as validity testing using triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the tahfidz program through habit-forming activities such as muroja’ah,talaqqi, and the provision of motivation contributes to children’s moral development. The moral values that develop include discipline, politeness, mutual respect, mutual assistance, and sportsmanship. Based on moral development theory, children are in the preconventional stage, where behavior is influenced by rules and rewards. Supporting factors include appropriate learning methods, the teacher’s role, and a conducive environment, while inhibiting factors include differences in children’s abilities and concentration. Thus, the tahfidz program plays a role in shaping the moral foundation of young children.
