PENGGUNAAN STRATEGI BISIK BERANTAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENYIMAK PADA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN DI TK SACHARINA PG GEMPOLKREP

Abstract

Menyimak merupakan proses mendengarkan bunyi bahasa dengan penuh perhatian sehingga menjadi satu pemahaman yang bermakna. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak harus menggunakan hal-hal baru dalam setiap pembelajaran. Pendidik  menerapkan ide-ide yang dimilikinya untuk menstimulasi perkembangan bahasa anak dengan menggunakan strategi dan media yang mendukung pembelajaran. Didalam penelitian ini permasalahan yang mendasar adalah dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menyimak anak TK Sacharina masih kurang efektif, strategi yang digunakan guru juga kurang menarik sehingga kemampuan menyimak anak belum memenuhi standar yang diharapkan guru. Oleh karena itu peneliti menerapkan strategi bisik berantai dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menyimak dengan menggunakan strategi bisik berantai pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Sacharina dan untuk mengetahui aktivitas pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimaknya.

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dirancang dalam bentuk siklus berulang. Di setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A di TK Sacharina yang berjumlah 15 anak yang terdiri atas 10 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan statistik deskriptif.

Berdasarkan data pada  siklus I di peroleh aktifitas guru sebesar 70%, aktifitas anak 72% dan hasil kemampuan menyimak anak sebesar 64%. Dari hasil siklus I maka target kriteria tindakan belum tercapai seperti yang diharapkan. Target kriteria tindakan yang diharapkan adalah ≥ 76%. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini berlanjut pada siklus II. Pada siklus II diperoleh data aktivitas guru sebesar 88% aktifitas anak sebesar 87% dan hasil kemampuan menyimak anak sebesar 87%.  Berdasarkan  data pada siklus II maka hasil penelitian berhasil dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi bisik berantai ternyata cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan  menyimak pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Sacharina PG Gempolkrep Gedeg Mojokerto.

ABSTRACT

Listening is a proccess of hearing sound with full attention so that become meaningful understanding. To increase the listening ability, childreen need to use new things in every learning. Educator apply ideas he/ she have to stimulate the children language growth with using strategy and media that support the learning activity.in this research, the problem is the listening ability that the children of TK Sacharina still not much effective. Beside, the  method that the teacher use are also still not good enough that makes the children cannot understand and cannot reached the target that the teacher wanted. Because of that, the researcher try to apply whispered chain strategy with expectation that it will increase the listening ability of the children. The purpose of this research is to find out the increase of listening ability with whispered chain to children of 4-5 aged on TK Sacharina and to find out the learning activity to increase the listening ability.

This research are using class action method that it is designed with repeating cycle form. Each cycle there are 4 steps; planning, action, observation and reflection.the subject of this research are the children on TK Sacharina that consist of 15 children. 10 girls, and 5 boys. The collecting data technique that it is use are observation and documnetation. While analysing the data, the method are statictical and descriptif .

Based on the cycle, 70% are teacher activity, while 72% are children’s activity, and the result of children listening ability only reached 64%. Based from this data, than the criteria still not reached yet, because the criteria are >76%. So, this research is continued to second cycle. On the cycle, we got the result as: 88% of teacher’s activity, 87% of children’s activity, and 87% are the result of listening ability that children had. So it means that the research are complete and success. And to sum up, that the listening whispered chain strategy are enough effective in order to increase the listening ability on 4-5 years old children at TK Sacharina PG Gempolkrep Gedeg Mojokerto.
