MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ARAB MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH PADA KELOMPOK A DI RA AN NUR

Abstract

Penelitian pada anak RA An Nur Japanan Kemlagi Mojokerto dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam berbahasa arab yang ditandai dengan ketidakmampuan anak dalam membaca secara lisan rangkaian huruf hijaiyah yang ditandai dari 19 anak hanya 10 yang sudah bisa. Model pembelajaran yang sering digunakan dalam mengajarkan bahasa arab adalah model klasikal, maka dari itu perlu dilakukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berbeda namun sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah model kooperatif tipe make a match. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa arab pada kelompok A di RA An Nur Japanan Kemlagi Mojokerto.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dirancang dalam bentuk siklus berulang. Setiap siklus terdiri dari : tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A di RA An Nur Japanan Kemlagi Mojokerto yang berjumlah 19 anak, terdiri dari 9 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah observasi dan dokumentasi,sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptifBerdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 diperoleh data kemampuan bahasa arab anak sebesar 57%. Hal ini menunjukkan penelitian tindakan kelas ini belum berhasil karena target keberhasilan yang diharapkan adalah 76%, maka penelitian ini berlanjut pada siklus II. Pada siklus II diperoleh data kemampuan bahasa arab anak sebesar 89%. Berdasarkan hasil pada siklus II maka penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa arab.

Abstract

The study conducted to children of RA An NurJapananKemlagiMojokerto was motivated by the children’s low Arabic languagecompetence which was marked by the children’s inability to read aloud the combinations of hijaiyah letters (Arabic letters), it was found that out of 19 children, there were only 10 children who were able to carry out the instruction. The learning model which was frequently used in the teaching and learning of Arabic is the classical model; hence it calls for more attractive and fun learning activities with an appropriate model. One of the learning model that can be used is the cooperative learning model type “make a match.” Regarding the explanation previously, the purpose of the study is to investigate whether the cooperative learning model type ‘make a match’ can help improve the Arabic language competence of children at group A, RA AnNurJapananKemlagiMojokerto. In line with the purpose of the study, this study is a classroom action research which is designed in a repetitive cycles. In which each cycle consists of: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting stages. The subjects of the study are the children of group A at RA AnNurJapananKemlagiMojokerto that consist of 19 children (9 boys and 10 girls). The data collection techniques used were the observation and documentation. In the meantime, the data of the study was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics.Based on the result of the study in cycle I, it was found that the children’s Arabic language competence was marked 57%. Considering this result, it was stated that the study was yet to reach its success target which was marked 76%. Therefore, the study was proceeded to cycle II. During cycle II, it was obtained that the children’s Arabic language competence was marked 89%. From this result, the study was declared as having reached its success target. In other words, the cooperative learning model type “make a match” is actually able to help improve the Arabic speaking competence.
