PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERCERITA MELALUI BERMAIN SAINS PADA ANAK USIA 3-4 TAHUN DI PAUD PLUS AL-FATTAH JARAK KULON JOGOROTO JOMBANG

Abstract

Pengembangan aspek bahasa pada anak usia 3-4 tahun memiliki karakteristik khusus yaitu mulai menceritakan kejadian atau pengalamannya secara sederhana. Saat ini anakusia 3-4 tahun di PAUD Plus Al-Fattah kemampuan berceritanya masih kurang maksimal.Hal ini disebabkan media pembelajarannya sering menggunakan lembar kerja atau portofolio sehingga kurang bermakna. Bermula dari hal tersebut peneliti menggunakan strategi bermain sains agar semua indera anak secara aktif turut mengeksplorasi objek sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah melalui bermain sains dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita anak usia 3-4 tahun di PAUD Plus Al-Fattah Jarak Kulon Jogoroto Jombang tahun ajaran 2013-2014.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan 2 siklus yang pada masing-masing siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan , pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah anak kelompok usia 3-4 tahun PAUD plus Al Fattah dengan jumlah  10 anak, yang terdiri atas 2 anak laki-laki dan 8 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan interview.Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif.Dalam hasil penelitian ini pada siklus 1 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bercerita anak usia3-4 tahun di Paud plus Al Fattah adalah sebesar 60 %. Hal ini belum sesuai dengan criteria penilaian tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak yaitu 80 % maka dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Pada siklus II kemampuan bercerita anak meningkat menjadi 90 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan bermain sains dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita anak usia 3-4 tahun di Paud plus Al Fattah Desa Jarak kulon kecamatan Jogoroto Kabupaten Jombang.

Abstract

The developing of the language aspec to children age 3-4 have a special charateristic that start when children capable to retelling an event or experience in simple ways. The ability that chidlren have to telling stories at Paud Al-Fattah still under the standar. This is caused the education media are using much of work sheet and portofolio that makes the children lost their interest. Because of that, the researcher start using the science plays plan to stimulate all the sense that the children have. The purpose of this research is to find out if through the science play activity, it can increase the children ability to telling story at Paud plus Al-Fattah Jarak Kulon Jogoroto Jombang 2013-2014. This research are using the class action method that has 2 cycle which each cycle has 4 steps; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research are children Paud Plus Al-Fattah that consist of 10 children; 2 boys and 8 girls. The collecting data technique are using the observation and interview, while the analyzing data technique are using the static and descriptif Based on the result at the first cycle, it is shows that there are some increases of the children ability to tell a stories that up to 60%. Since this result still not reach the standar, so the research are continue to the second cycle. At the second cycle, there are increases of the children ability to tell a stories that up to 90%. Based on the result at the second cycle, we can conclude that through science play activity, we can increase the children ability to tell a stories
