Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji ada atau tidaknya pengaruh mencetak dengan playdough pelangi terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri anak kelompok A. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre experiment, jenis penelitian one group pre test dan post test design dengan subjek penelitian 20 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistic non parametric uji jenjang bertanda (Wilcoxson match pair test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian skor total yang didapatkan oleh 20 anak pada pre-test sebesar 101 dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 5,05 sedangkan pada kegiatan post-test skor total yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 194 dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 9,7. Hasil perhitungan dengan uji wilcoxson math pairs test menunjukan perolehan Thitung<Ttabel (0<25). Dari hasil analisis tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh mencetak dengan playdough pelangi terhadap kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri anak kelompok A. Kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri mulai berkembang dikarenkan anak sudah mulai mengenal bentuk geometri dengan menggunakan playdough pelangi dan kartu berbentuk geometri..

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine whether or not the influence of printing with playdough rainbow on the ability to recognize the geometry of children aged 4-5 years. This study uses a quantitative research design with pre-experimental research design, one group research type pre test and post test design with research subjects 20 children. The data collection technique used is observation. Data analysis using a signed level parametric non-parametric test (Wilcoxson match pair test). Based on the results of the study the total score obtained by 20 children in the pre-test was 101 with an average score of 5.05 while the post-test activity the total score obtained was 194 with an average score of 9.7. The results of calculations using the Wilcoxson math pairs test show the acquisition of Tcount <T table (0 <25). From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected while Ha is accepted. This means that there is the effect of printing with playdough rainbow on the ability to recognize geometric shapes of children aged 4-5 years. The ability to recognize geometric shapes began to develop because children have begun to recognize geometric shapes using playdough rainbows and geometric cards.
