PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI PADA TEMA PENCEMARAN AIR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETUNTASAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 BUDURAN SIDOARJO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran inkuiri, ketuntasan hasil belajar, dan respon siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pre eksperimen dengan rancangan “One Shot Case Study”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Buduran Semester gasal tahun ajaran 2012-2013 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-F. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata hasil pengamatan pada pertemuan I, II dan III yaitu sebesar 3,69; 3,78; 3,90. Ini berarti bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri pada tema pencemaran air terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar diperoleh 85,29% siswa tuntas. Hasil pembelajaran aspek afektif dan psikomotor siswa dengan LKS inkuiri tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada tema pencemaran air dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada tema pencemaran air sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata siswa yang menjawab positif adalah 97,93%.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the inquiry learning model, student learning completeness, and student responses. Type of research is the study of pre experiment, the draft "One Shot Case Study". The population is students of class VII State Junior High School 2 Buduran Semester odd the academic year 2012-2013 which consists of 7 clasess. The sample used in this research was a class VII-F. Based on the results of observation learning implementation obtained an average the results of observations on the first, second, and third meeting which is 3.69; 3.78; 3.90. This means that the inquiry learning model on the theme of water pollution done very well. Student learning completeness by providing an test of the study result were obtained 85.29 % of students has been completed. The result of learning for affective and psychomotor aspect the student with inquiry LKS were very good. It showed that by the application of inquiry learning model on the theme of water pollution could improve the student learning completeness. The response of students to the application of inquiry learning model on the theme of water pollution very good with the average percentage of students who answered positive was 97.93%.
