PENGARUH PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KUALITAS DATA DAFTAR PEMILIH TETAP PEMILU 2024 DI KOTA SURABAYA

Abstrak

The success of general elections is inseparable from public participation which has an impact on the quality of accurate voter data updating. Surabaya is the city with the largest DPT in East Java, namely 2,218,586 people. Conditions in the field, often found people who are less cooperative in updating voter data. This study aims to measure the effect of community participation on the quality of DPT data for the 2024 General Election in Surabaya City. In this study, community participation is analyzed based on the opinion of Cohen and Uphoff in Siti Irine (2009) including participation of decision making, participation in implementation, participation in benefits, and participation in evaluation. This research uses a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The data collection of this study was through distributing questionnaires with samples selected using simple random sampling technique, namely 100 respondents from the Surabaya City Election DPT. The findings of this study resulted in an r-square value of 0.785 and an f-square of 3.643 which indicates the influence of community participation variables on improving the quality of DPT Election data. In this study, the recommendation proposed by the researcher is that the people of Surabaya city must be more initiative, cooperative, and solutive towards updating voter data in future elections or local elections.
