GEOMETRIC REDESIGN OF THE PROBOLINGGO - BANYUWANGI TOLL ROAD PACKAGE 3 AT STA 32+000 - STA 36+300 USING THE BINA MARGA 2009 METHOD

The construction of the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi toll road package 3, specifically at STA 32+000 - STA 36+300, is located in Situbondo Regency and has a hilly terrain. In addition, several points on this toll road construction are quite close to residential areas, so vibrations from heavy equipment can be felt and have an impact on the surrounding infrastructure. This study aims to find a new alternative route with a smaller impact of construction on the surrounding infrastructure. This study uses quantitative research methods with reference to Bina Marga Regulation No. 007/BM/2009 concerning the Geometry of Unobstructed Roads for Toll Roads. The results of the study show that the selected alternative route is alternative route 2 with a total of 3 Points of Intersection (PI) on the horizontal alignment and 3 Points of Vertical Intersection (PVI) on the vertical alignment. In terms of cut and fill, the alternative route has a cut volume of 2,226,774.31 m3 and a fill volume of 1,994,622.75 m3. These results are greater than those of the existing route, which is 1.788% for cut volume and 1.889% for fill volume.
