Berbicaraadalahsalahsatusubjekkemampuan yang ada di dalambelajar Bahasa Inggris. Tujuandarimempelajarikemampuanberbicaraadalahuntukmembuatsiswadapatmenguasaiberkomunikasimenggunakan Bahasa inggrisdenganbaik.Beberapasiswatidakpercayadiridengankemempuanberbicaramerekasendiri, beberapasiswalagitidak tau apa yang akanmerekakatakan di depankelaskarenakemampuankosa kata dalam Bahasa Inggrismereka yang terbatas. Guru menggunakan talk show didalamkelasberbicaradenganmaksuduntukmembuatmurid-muridberbicara di kelas. Inidikarenakan, talk show mempunyaibeberapakomponen yang melibatkanlebihdarisatusiswauntukmenjalankannya. Didalam Talk show, muriddapatmendiskusikanbeberapa topic secara informal, jadimuridakanmerasanyamanuntukberbicara di depanumum.Topik yang di bicarakandalam talk show dapat di hubungkandenganteksnarasi. Karena di dalam talk show orang-orang membahasbeberapa topic yang mempunyaipermasalahn di dalamnya. Inisangatcocokdenganteksnarasi.Disini, penulismengamatiimplementasi talk show di SMA UlulAlbabSidoarjo. Penelitianinimengguakandeskriptifkwalitatif. Research question yang pertamaadslahtentangimplemetasi talk show di sekolahdsan yang keduaadalahtentangresponmuridterhadaptehnik talk show. Penulismenjelaskanimplementasi talk show tehnikdanresponmuriddikelas. Instrument yang digunakanadalah field note dan questionnaire. Field note membantumenjawab research question pertamatentangimplementasi talk show dan questioner menjawab research question keduatentangresponmuriddikelas. Kesimpulannyaadalahhasildaripenelitianinitehnik talk show adalahtehnik yang cocokuntukmenumbuhkankemampuanbicaradanpercayadirimuriduntukdapatberbicara di depanumum. Tehnikinidapatjugauntukmengajarspeaking untukteksnarasi

Abstract

Speaking is one of the subject skills in learning English. The aim of learning speaking skill is to enable students to use English in communication.Some students are not confident with their speaking ability, some students do not know what they want to talk in front of the class because they have limit vocabularies. Teachers use talk show in speaking class in order to make their students speak up in class. It is because talk show implementation has some components that involve more than one student to implement it. In talk show, the students can discuss some topics in informal way, therefore students will feel more comfortablespeaking English in front of the class.The topic discussion in talk show can be connected with a narrative text, because in talk show some people talk about some topics that have a problem in it. It is suitable with narrative text.  In conclusion, the result of this study is talk show technique is the suitable technique that can encourage students’ speaking ability and it can increase the students’ confidence to speak in front of the class. This technique can help teachers to teaching speaking in a narrative text in class too.
