Pengaruh Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS ( Think-Pair-Share ) Dengan Teknik Power Of Two Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Kalor di Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkalan

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu unsur yang penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan. Dengan menempuh pendidikan seseorang dapat memperoleh pengetahuan, pengalaman dan keterampilan melalui proses belajar mengajar. Cara guru mengajar menjadi penentu keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bangkalan diketahui bahwa di sekolah tersebut guru fisika masih menerapkan metode ceramah dan masih sedikit yang menerapkan model dan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk aktif di kelas, sehingga hasil belajar siswa belum maksimal. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti mencoba menerapkan suatu model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dengan teknik Power of Two. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dengan teknik Power of Two terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi kalor, keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dengan teknik Power of Two. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan true eksperimental design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangkalan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas eksperimen (X-4 dan X-5) dan satu kelas kontrol (X-6) yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil pre-test ranah kognitif dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji normalitas dan homogenitas pada ranah kognitif didapatkan semua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dua pihak didapatkan t_hitung kelas eksperimen adalah X-4: 6,60 dan X-5: 6,89 dengan t_hitungsebesar 2,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol karena t_hitung tidak berada pada -t_tabel < t_hitung < t_tabel. Nilai t_hitung pada uji-t satu pihak kelas eksperimen sama dengan t_hitung pada uji-t dua pihak dengan t_tabel sebesar 1,67. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol karena t_hitung > t_tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think-Pair-Share) dengan teknik Power Of Two terlaksana dengan baik, berpengaruh positif meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa  pada materi kalor, dan lebih dari 70% siswa memberikan respon baik.

Abstract

Education is one of the elements that are important to improve the quality of life. With educated someone able to acquire knowledges, experiences and skills through learning process. In the manner of teachers teach a determiner the success of teaching and learning. Based on the results of observations and interview researchers at SMA Negeri 1 Bangkalan was known that at the school physics teacher still applies the methods of lectures and still a bit that is applying a model and strategies of learning that can’t motivate students to be active in the classroom so study result of the students have not yet be maxcimal. Because of that researcher tried to apply some kind the model of Learning Cooperative type TPS ( Think-Pair-Share ) with the technique Power Of Two.  the purpose of this research is to find out the influence of learning model cooperative type TPS (Think-Pair-Share) with the technique Power Of Two for student result in heat materai, the learning process performed and students  response toward Cooperative Learning type TPS( Think-Pair-Share ) with the technique of Power Of Two. Design of this research using a true experimental design. The population of that research is all the students class x SMA 1 Bangkalan. Sample of research consisting of two class as experiments class (X-4 and X-5) and one class as control class (X-6) with purposive choosing sample.The results of the domain of cognitive pre-test normality and analyzed with the homogenity. Based on the result analysis of normality and test of homogeneity in the domain of cognitive obtained all classes with normal distribution and homogeny. Based on the result analysis test-t two parties gathered t_hitung class experiment is X-4: 6,60 and X-5: 6,89 with t_hitung = 2,00. It goes to show that average study result of the class experiment different with the class control because t_hitung is not in -t_tabel < t_hitung < t_tabel. The value of thitung on test-t one party class experiment equal to t_hitung on test-t two parties with t_tabel of 1.67. It indicate to show that average study result of the class experiment better than a class of control because t_hitung> t_tabel. The result showed that kind of classroom cooperative typeTPS ( Think-Pair-Share ) with the technique of Power Of Two done well, influential positive increase physics students study result, and more than 70 percents of students give responded well.
