PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF VOLTACHEM UNTUK MENGURANGI MISKONSEPSI PADA SUBMATERI POKOK SEL VOLTA (DEVELOPMENT INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA VOLTACHEM TO REDUCE MISCONCEPTIONS IN VOLTAIC CELL SUBMATERIALS)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan multimedia interaktif VoltaChem dalam mengurangi miskonsepsi pada materi sel volta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Developmet (R&D) sampai tahap uji coba produk terbatas. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah: satu dosen kimia, dua guru kimia, 5 pengamat dan 15 siswa SMA PGRI 2 Bangkalan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar observasi, lembar angket respon siswa, dan lembar tes pilihan ganda tiga tingkat. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, dengan ketentuan layak apabila presentase rata-rata masing-masing aspek ≥ 61%. Aspek kualitas isi dan tujuan, kualitas instruksional, kualitas teknis, dan kualitas bahasa masing-masing mendapatkan penilaian sebesar 85,76%, 86,67%, 88,89% dan 95%. Hasil observasi sebesar 90,00% dan respon positif dari siswa sebesar 92,12% serta terdapat peningkatan persentase siswa yang tahu konsep sebesar 44,66%, penurunan persentase siswa yang tidak tahu konsep sebesar 23,33%, dan penurunan persentase siswa yang miskonsepsi sebesar 21,33%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif VoltaChem layak digunakan untuk mengurangi miskonsepsi pada materi sel volta.

This research aims is to determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia VoltaChem toreduce misconception in voltaic cell material. This research is development research using Research and Development (R&D) design. Data sources of this research are: one chemistry lecture, two chemistry teachers, 5 observers and 15 students of SMA PGRI 2 Bangkalan. This research use study sheets, validation sheet, observation sheet, student questionnaire respons, and three tier multiple choice test sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively, with media provision is feasible if the percentage obtained by ≥ 61%. Quality of content and purpose aspect, instructional quality, technical quality, and quality of language each get 85.76%, 86.67%, 88.89%, and 95%. Results of observation was 90,00%, positive response from the students was 92,12% and there is an increasing in the percentage of students who know the concept of 50%, a decreasing in the percentage of students who do not know the concept of 20.67%, and a decreasing in the percentage of students misconceptions of 29.33%. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia VoltaChem is feasible to use as learning media to reduce misconception in voltaic cell.
