DEIKSIS TEMPORAL DALAM ROMAN KUSS MIT LUSTIG KARYA JANET EVANOVICH

Abstract

This article aims to describe the form and function of temporal deixis in roman. The use of deixis is very necessary for Romans because roman has a complex storyline, so with the use of deixis, roman is easier to interpret. With deixis, the reader can find out what the writer means through the context in the form of people, objects, places, times, language, and actions. This study is in the context of time, namely when the utterance is said and in what situation. The theory used in this research is the theory of Christian Lehmann. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data source used is Roman Kuss mit Lustig by Janet Evanovich. Then the data from this study are sentences or utterances that contain Temporal Deixis. The data collection technique used in this research is the reading and note-taking technique. The analytical technique used is the PUP technique (Sort the determinants). With this method, the analysis is carried out starting from selecting the data, grouping the data, and then concluding the data. Based on the research that has been done, found 118 data in the form of Present, 332 in the form of Perfect, and 15 in the form of Präteritum.
