ANALISIS KOHESI GRAMATIKAL REFERENSI DAN KONJUNGSI DALAM DONGENG GRIMM BERSAUDARA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cohesion markers of reference and conjunction contained in the Grimm Brothers' collection of fairy tales. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the take-notes method. The data sources of this research are 3 titles of German fairy tales from the Grimm Brothers Fairy Tale Collection, namely Die kluge Bauerntochter, Die Sonne bringts an den Tag, and Doktor Allwissend. The data used are sentence fragments that contain reference and conjunction cohesion markers. The data is analyzed through 3 stages, namely data collection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study concluded a number of reference cohesion markers, namely 65 Partnerpronomen data, 191 reine Verweispronomen data, 39 Possesivpronomen data, 2 Demonstrativpronomen data, 20 Relativpronomen data, 9 Reflexivpronomen data, 31 abstrakte Pronomen data, 121 Pro-Adverb data, 55 Conjunctionaladverb data, 23 anaphora marker function data, and 8 cataphora marker function data; and a number of conjunction markers were found, namely 142 additive conjunction data, 6 adversative conjunction data, 5 comparative conjunction data, 1 alternative conjunction data, 29 temporal subjunction data, 16 causal conjunction data, and 3 modal conjunction data. However, this study did not find consecutive, final, and instrumental causal subjunction markers as well as adversative and restrictive modal subjunction markers.
