PREPOSISI BAHASA JERMAN AUS DAN VON DALAM MAJALAH NADI (2018) DAN PADANANNYA DALAM BAHASA INDONESIA

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the forms of the German prepositions aus and von, (2) the functions of the equivalent German prepositions aus and von in Indonesian in NADI magazine (2018). This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data used in this research are linguistic units in the form of sentences, clauses, and phrases that contain German prepositions aus and von and their Indonesian equivalents, sourced from NADI Magazine (2018). Data collection was carried out using notetaking techniques, while data analysis used Translational and Referential Matching methods. The results of this study indicate that the German prepositions aus and von have various forms when they are matched in Indonesian, namely (1) the equivalent form of the German preposition aus in Indonesian sentences can be in the form of prepositions "from, with, within, and between" , the noun "on the basis of" and the equivalent form of the German preposition von in Indonesian sentences can be in the form of prepositions "of, on, with, for, by", conjunctions "which, as" nouns "about, worth" adverb "as big as" verb " regarding", (2) the function of the German prepositional equivalent aus in Indonesian sentences can be used to mark the relationship "place/location, time, part of, ownership, purpose, condition, participation, and means" and the meaning of the German prepositional equivalent von in Indonesian sentences can be used to mark the relationship "tool, place/location, part of, subject, determines the situation".
