TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI ANTARTOKOH DALAM FILM DAS LEHRERZIMMER KARYA İLKER ÇATAK

Abstract

Linguistics has several branches that cover various fields, each focusing on certain aspects of language, one of which is speech acts. Speech acts are divided into three types: locution, illocution, and perlocution. This research aims to analyse the illocutionary speech acts found in the film Das Lehrerzimmer through a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source was obtained from klikfilm.com. The research data consists of all utterances in the dialogue of the characters in Das Lehrerzimmer. The main focus of the research is to identify, categorise, and describe the types of illocutionary speech acts based on Searle's theory. The results show that five types of illocutionary speech acts were identified in the dialogues between characters: assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative.
