Metafora Dalam Puisi Di Instagram @richter.denker Dari Sisi Semantik

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and meanings of metaphors in the poems posted on the Instagram account @richter.denker, focusing on the semantic aspect. Semantic analysis is employed to identify the types of metaphors that emerge through meaning shifts, literal impossibility, and associative relations between linguistic expressions and the concepts they represent. The research applies a descriptive qualitative method with analytical techniques consisting of identifying metaphorical expressions, testing their non-literalness, classifying semantic metaphors according to Ridwan (2017), and interpreting their meanings based on the poetic context. The data consist of fifteen poems purposively selected from the account’s public posts. The findings show that the dominant semantic metaphors include personification, animisation, symbols, synaesthesia, allegory, and Chiffre. These metaphors function to construct emotional atmosphere, evoke symbolic imagery, and condense abstract meanings into concise and suggestive linguistic forms. Moreover, the findings indicate that the digital poems of @richter.denker employ semantic metaphors to create depth of meaning within limited textual space, thereby reinforcing the poetic character of contemporary digital literature.
