Electronic Filling
Independent journal of economics is committed to ensuring sustainable access, integrity, preservation and long-term dissemination of all published scientific content.
Electronic Backup
The official Version of Record (VoR) of all published articles is maintained on the independent journal of economics website. Published articles and other important journal files are also regularly backed up and stored securely on Google Drive independent journal of economics.
The backup copy is stored separately from the journal's main server and can be used for the recovery process in the event of data loss, server failure, or other technical problems.
Digital Preservation Strategy
The Independent Journal of Economics maintains redundant copies of published articles and critical publication data as part of its digital preservation strategy. Preserved files can be restored or migrated if necessary to maintain continued access following technical disruptions or changes to the publishing infrastructure.
Published journal content may also be submitted to the National Library of Indonesia and/or other relevant national preservation services as part of applicable custody, archiving, and preservation provisions.
The Independent Journal of Economics has also activated the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) archiving functions available through the OJS platform. These functions provide technical permissions and publisher manifests intended to facilitate preservation through LOCKSS- and CLOCKSS-based systems, where applicable.
Activation of these technical functions does not, in itself, constitute confirmation that the Independent Journal of Economics content is currently preserved by a long-term preservation service participating in the LOCKSS or CLOCKSS network.
Self-Archiving and Repository Policy
Independent journals of economics permit authors to self-archive their published Submitted Versions (Preprints), Accepted Manuscripts, and Versions of Record (VoR) in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, funder-designated repositories, or other appropriate non-commercial academic repositories and platforms.
All permitted versions may be stored without embargo. For published articles, authors should include appropriate citations and a link to the official independent journal of economics article or DOI, if available. Self-archiving activities must comply with applicable copyright and licensing provisions.
Authors should understand that publicly archived versions, particularly Preprints or Accepted Manuscripts, may yield high similarity scores in subsequent similarity checks. Legitimate similarity to officially archived versions should not automatically be considered plagiarism. Therefore, Authors are encouraged to inform the Editorial Team if there is a version of the manuscript that has previously been publicly archived, and similarity reports will be evaluated based on the source, context, type and distribution of similarity and relevant publication conditions.
