PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KEGIATAN SISWA (LKS) BERORIENTASI CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NONELEKTROLIT KELAS X SMA (DEVELOPMENT OF CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING ORIENTED STUDENT ACTIVITY SHEET TO PRACTICE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILL ON ELECTROLYTE AND NONELECTROLYTE SOLUTION MATERIAL FOR 10TH GRADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan, melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap LKS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development. Subjek penelitian adalah LKS yang dikembangkan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini antara lain dosen kimia, guru kimia, dan 12 siswa kelas X MIA SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar post test keterampilan proses sains, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKS dinyatakan layak berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, kegrafikan dan kebahasaan dengan persentase antara 75%-100%; (2) Keterampilan proses sains siswa yang terdiri dari keterampilan merancang penelitian, melakukan penelitian, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data dan menyimpulkan berhasil dilatihkan dengan rata-rata nilai post test siswa sebesar 3,11 dengan predikat B (baik); (3) LKS mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa dengan persentase antara 75%-100%.

The  aims of this research are to describe the feasibility of student activity sheet that have been developed, to practice student’s science process skills, and to describe student response toward the activity sheet. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research is student activity sheet that have been developed. The data source of this research were chemistry lecturer, chemistry teacher, and 12 10th grade senior high school  students . The instruments that used were the analysis sheet, validation sheet, science process skill post test sheet, and student’s response questioner sheet. Data are analyzed descriptively. The result of this research showed that (1) the activity sheet categorized as feasible based on content, presentation, graphic, and language with percentage between 75%-100%; (2) Science process skills that included designing investigation, conducting investigation, collecting data, analyzing data, and concluding skill successfully practiced with average student’s skill score 3,11 with the predicate B (good); (3) the activity sheet get positive response from students with percentage between  75%-100%.
