PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA BERBASIS KOMPUTER UNTUK MENGURANGI MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERIKESETIMBANGAN KIMIA KELAS XI SMA(THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER BASED MULTIMEDIA FOR MINES MISCONCEPTION OF STUDENTS IN CHEMICAL EQUILIBRIUMTOPIC IN XI CLASS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kelayakan multimedia berbasis komputer ditinjau dari kriteria validitas isi, penyajian, dan kebahasaan, (2) pergeseran pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan desain 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate), penelitian ini terbatas sampai tahap develop. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian One group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel penelitian yaitu 15 siswa kelas XI MIA-1 SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kelayakan multimedia berbasis komputer pada materi kesetimbangan kimia berdasarkan penilaian dosen kimia mendapatkan hasil validitas rata-rata sebesar 77,41% dengan kategori layak, dengan rincian berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan validitas isi sebesar 75,55% dengan kategori layak, validitas penyajian sebesar 76,67% dengan kategori layak, dan validitas kebahasaan sebesar 80% dengan kategori layak. (2) terjadi pergerseran pemahaman konsep siswa yaitu terjadi peningkatan persentase siswa tahu konsep sebesar 26%; penurunan persentase siswa tidak tahu konsep sebesar 10,67%; dan penurunan siswa yang miskonsepsi sebesar 15,33%.

The aims of this development research are to know about (1) the feasibility of computer based multimedia by the criteria content feasibiliy, presentation, and linguistic, (2) a shift in understanding concept of students. This research of development used design 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate), that is limited until develop stage. the research used the One group pretest-posttest design with sample is 15 student XI Science-1 SMA 17August 1945 Surabaya. The result show (1) the feasibility of computer based multimedia in chemical equilibrium topic by a assessment chemistry lecture get result of feasibility rate were 77,41% with feasible category, with detail by the criteria content feasibiliy were 75,55% with feasible category, the criteria presentation feasibility were 76,67% with feasible category and the criteria linguistic feasibility were 80% with feasible category, (2) a shift in understanding concept of students is occur increase percentage know concept of students were 26%; decrease percentage not know concept of students were 10,67%; and decrease percentage misconception of students were 15,33%.
