PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERORIENTASI MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 7-E UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA SMA KELAS X PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON ELEKTROLIT

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS berorientasi model learning cycle 7-E untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains yang valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian pengembangan menurut Research and Development. Sasaran penelitian adalah LKS berorientasi model learning cycle 7-E untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. Subjek uji coba adalah dosen kimia, guru kimia, serta 16 siswa kelas XI MIA SMA. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar angket respon siswa, lembar test keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan lembar aktivitas keterampilan proses sains. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa (1) LKS dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, bahasa, kegrafikan, kesesuaian learning cycle 7-E, dan kesesuaian komponen keterampilan proses sains rata-rata secara keseluruhan pada LKS 1 diperoleh hasil sebesar 88% sedangkan untuk LKS 2 sebesar 87%, (2) Kepraktisan LKS dari respon siswa dan aktivitas siswa mendapatkan respon positif secara keseluruhan rata-rata persentase sebesar 98% dengan interpretasi sangat layak, (3) Keefektifan LKS dari hasil skor post test terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa secara keseluruhan sebesar 87,5%. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berorientasi model learning cycle 7-E untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang dihasilkan layak digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit.

This research is generally aimed to produce LKS oriented 7-E learning cycle model to tackle the science process skill that is valid, practical, and effective so it is worthy to be used as a medium of learning. Type of research used is research development according to Research and Development. Target of research is LKS oriented model of learning cycle 7-E to trained skill of science process. The test subjects were chemistry lecturer, chemistry teacher, and 16 students of XI grade MIA SMA. Research instrument used in the form of review sheet, validation sheet, student response questionnaire, student science skill test sheet, and science process skill activity sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative. The result of the research shows that (1) LKS is valid valid based on contents, presentation, language, kegrafikan, the fit of learning cycle 7-E, and the overall component science skill component fit on LKS 1 is obtained 88% 2 by 87%, (2) LKS practicality of students response and student activity get positive response overall average percentage equal to 98% with interpretation very feasible, (3) effectiveness of LKS from result of post test score to skill of science process of student as a whole amounted to 87.5%. Based on these findings it can be concluded that LKS oriented 7-E learning cycle model to trained students science process skills generated feasible used to trill the science process skills on the material of electrolyte and non electrolyte solution.
