Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari Lembar Kegiatan Siswa berorientasi Learning Cycle 7-E pada materi pokok kesetimbangan kimia untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA yang dinilai berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, kesesuaian dengan model Learning Cycle 7-E, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Developmet (R&D), tetapi hanya dibatasi sampai tahap uji coba produk secara terbatas. Penilaian LKS dilakukan oleh 2 dosen kimia dan 1 guru kimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kegiatan Siswa berorientasi Learning Cycle 7-E dikatakan layak berdasarkan penilaian dari dosen dan guru kimia karena telah memenuhi kriteria isi, penyajian, kesesuaian dengan model Learning Cycle 7-E, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 87.11%, 84.19%, 85.86%, dan 85.00%.

This research is to know the feasibility of student activity with Learning Cycle 7-E orientation in main material of chemical equilibrium to train critical thinking skills of senior high school student based on criteria of content, presentation, suitability with Learning Cycle 7-E model, and suitability with component of critical thinking skills. This research is development research using Research and Development (R&D) as research design, but only limited until trials of product. Assessment of  student activity conducted by 2 chemistry lectures and 1 chemistry teacher. The results showed that the student activity with Learning Cycle 7-E orientation is feasible based on teacher and chemist lecturers because it has met the feasibility criteria of content, presentation, suitability with learning cycle 7-E model, and suitability with component of critical thinking skills are 87.11%, 84.19%, 85.86%, and 85.00%.
