PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PERMAINAN STOICHIO GAME PADA MATERI POKOK KONSEP MOL BAGI SISWA SMA SEKOLAH BERSTANDAR INTERNASIONAL (THE DEVELOPMENT OF PLAYING MEDIA STOICHIO GAME IN THE MAIN SUBJECT OF MOLE CONCEPT FOR INTERNATIONAL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan media permainan Stoichio Game sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pokok konsep mol bagi siswa SMA Sekolah Berstandar Internasional.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develope, disseminate) dan dilakukan sampai tahap pengembangan uji coba terbatas. Kelayakan media ditentukan dari hasil validasi tiga guru kimia ditinjau dari kesesuaian format media dan kualitas media dan penilaian respon siswa didukung oleh lembar observasi aktifitas siswa. Media permainan yang telah dikembangkan ditelaah oleh 2 ahli media, 1 ahli bahasa, dan 1 guru kimia. Selanjutnya media permainan direvisi kemudian divalidasi oleh 3 guru kimia SMAN 15 Surabaya dan diujicobakan pada 10 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 15 Surabaya. Media permainan dikatakan layak apabila memiliki persentase rata-rata penilaian ≥61%. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh penilaian hasil validasi kelayakan dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 83,33% dari segi kesesuaian format dan kualitas media. Dari hasil uji coba terbatas pada 10 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 15 Surabaya diperoleh penilaian respon positif siswa  dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 95,71%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media permainan Stoichio Game yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pokok konsep mol bagi siswa SMA Sekolah Berstandar Internasional.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of Stoichio Game playing media as a learning media in the main subject of mole concept for international senior high school. This study used the development of 4D device models (define, design, develope, disseminate) and it used until limited test stage. Feasibility of media determined from validation of three chemistry teacher based on media format compability and quality and also students responses assesment supported by student activity observational sheet. Media that was developed examined by 2 media professional, 1 language professional, and 1 chemistry teacher. After the media revised, it was validated by three chemistry teacher of SMAN 15 Surabaya and tested on 10 students of class XI IPA 4 SMAN 15 Surabaya. The media playing called feasible if it has assessment percentage of ≥61%. In this study, the feasibility obtained as 83.33% of average percentage validation result based on media format compability and quality. The limited test on 10 students of XI IPA 4 SMAN 15 Surabaya result that students give positive response with 95.71% of average percentage. Based on the result, the Stoichio Game playing media is feasible and suitable to be used as a learning media in the main subject of mole concept for international senior high school.
