Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa SMA pada Materi Laju Reaksi

Abstract

Abstrak

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA pada sub materi faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing..Desain penelitian menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sasaran penelitian ini ialah siswa SMA kelas XI IPA 6 SMAN 1 Krembung Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa instrumen yakni lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan model inkuiri terbimbing, lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar tes hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains, dan lembar respon siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh data: (1) Keterlaksanaan model inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi laju reaksi sudah terlaksana dengan sangat baik (2) Aktivitas siswa selama dua kali pertemuan yang paling sering terlihat ialah mendengarkan penjelasan guru dan melakukan percobaan (3) Hasil belajar keterampilan proses sains siswa meningkat diketahui dari N-gain score pada keterampilan merumuskan masalah, membuat hipotesis, mengidentifikasi variabel, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis hasil percobaan, dan membuat kesimpulan berturut-turut sebesar 0,87 kategori tinggi; 0,88 kategori tinggi; 0,68 kategori sedang; 0,91 kategori tinggi; 0,67 kategori sedang; dan 0,58 kategori sedang. Ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh sebesar 84% siswa yang hasil belajarnya tuntas (4) Respon siswa sebanyak 95,74% siswa memeberikan respon positif dengan kategori sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang diterapkan dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi laju reaksi.

Abstract

This research have an aims to train the science process skills of senior high school students on the sub matter of factors that affecting reaction rate through the implementation of a guided inquiry learning model. The research design use a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with the type of research is descriptive quantitative. The target of this research are senior high school students of class XI IPA 6 SMAN 1 Krembung Sidoarjo. This research use instruments are the observation sheets for the implementation of guided inquiry learning models, sheet of student activity, test sheets the results of learning science process skills, and sheet of student response. The results of the research are: (1) The implementation of a guided inquiry learning model to train students science process skills in the matter of reaction rate has been done very well. (2) The students activity for two meetings the most commonly seen is listening to the teachers explanation and doing experiments (3) The results of learning science process skills of students increase known from the N-gain value on the skills of formulating a problems, making hypotheses, identifying variables, collecting data, analyzing experimental results, and making conclusions in a row of 0.87 in high category; 0.88 in high category; 0.68 in medium category; 0.91 in high category ; 0.67 in medium category; and 0.58 in medium category. Classical completeness obtained by 84% of students whose learning outcomes are complete (4) The student responses as much as 95,74% of students give a positive response in a very good category. This shows that the guided inquiry learning model that is applied can train students science process skills in the matter of reaction rate.
