PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA CHEMTUTOR PADA MATERI REAKSI REDOKS  SMA KELAS XII ( DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMTUTOR MULTIMEDIA ON REDOX REACTION FOR STUDENT XII GRADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

 

 

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuikelayakanmultimedia ChemTutoryang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran materi reaksi redoks SMA kelas XII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Terdapat 10 langkah pengembangan yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, ujicoba produk,  revisi produk, ujicoba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi masal. Namun, penelitian ini hanya terbatas sampai enam langkah saja yaitu uji coba produk.Rancangan multimedia ChemTutor ditelaah dan divalidasi oleh 2 orang dosen kimia dan 1 guru kimia SMA dan diujicobakan secara terbatas kepada 15 siswa kelas XII SMAN 2 Ponorogo . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan multimedia ChemTutorberdasarkan validasi dosen kimia dan guru kimia memenuhi kriteria sangat layak dengan persentasekualitas isi dan tujuan  sebesar  82,47%,  kualitas instruksional sebesar85% , dan kualitas teknis sebesar 82,22%. Sedangkan kelayakan multimedia ChemTutorberdasarkan respon siswa memenuhi kriteria sangat layak dengan persentasekualitas isi dan tujuan  sebesar  93,78%,  kualitas instruksional sebesar86,67% , dan kualitas teknis sebesar 93,33%.Sehingga dapatdisimpulkan bahwa multimedia ChemTutor layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

The aims of this study to know the feasibility of ChemTutormultimedia that has been developed as a learning media on redox reaction in XII grade Senior High School. The research method that used research and development (R&D).There are 10 steps include potention and problem, collecting data, design of product, revision of product, revision of design, test of product, revision of product, test of product and production. But in this research just until limited test of product. The product of ChemTutor Multimedia  was analyzed and validation by 2 chemistry lecturers and 1 chemistry teacher of Senior High School and limited test to 15 students in 12nd of SMAN 2 Ponorogo. The results showed that the feasibility of ChemTutor multimedia based validation of chemistry lecturers and chemistry teacher have very good criteria with percentage of content and objective quality is 82,47%, instructional quality is 85%, and technical quality is 82,22%.  Meanwhile, the  feasibility of ChemTutormultimedia based student’s responses have very good criteria too with percentage of content and objective quality is 93,78%, instructional quality is 86,67%, and technical quality is 93,33%. So, it can be concluded that ChemTutor multimedia can use as a lerning media on redox reaction for student XII grade  Senior High School.
