PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CHEMVID TUTORIAL BERBASIS VIDEO INTERAKTIF PADA MATERI STOIKIOMETRI KELAS X SMA (DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMVID TUTORIAL AS LEARNING MEDIA BASED OF INTERACTIVE VIDEOS ON STOICHIOMETRY SUBJECT FOR X GRADE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media CHEMVID Tutorial berbasis video interaktif pada materi stoikiometri kelas X SMA. Kelayakan media CHEMVID Tutorial ditinjau dari hasil validasi pada 3 aspek  kelayakan multimedia (rekayasa perangkat lunak, desain pembelajaran, dan komunikasi visual), respon siswa terhadap media CHEMVID Tutorial, dan pergeseran pemahaman peserta uji coba terbatas setelah menggunakan media CHEMVID Tutorial. Penelitian ini menngunakan desain pengembangan model 4-D (define,design,develop,disseminate), namun tanpa disertai tahap disseminate. Telaah untuk pengembangan media CHEMVID Tutorial dilakukan oleh 1 orang dosen kimia dan 1 orang guru kimia SMA.Media CHEMVID Tutorial divalidasi oleh 2 orang dosen kimia dan 1 orang guru kimia SMA.Uji coba terbatas dilakukan kepada 15 siswa kelas XI-A SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media CHEMVID Tutorial dikatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan dari persentase rata-rata dalam uji validasi sebesar 87% dan dari persentase rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 88%. Selain itu, diperoleh pergeseran pemahaman siswa dalam uji coba terbatas yakni jumlah tingkat pemahaman tahu konsep meningkat sebanyak 43%, jumlah tingkat pemahaman tidak tahu konsep menurun sebanyak 34% dan jumlah tingkat pemahaman miskonsepsi menurun sebanyak 9%.

This research goal was to determine feasibility of CHEMVID Tutorial as a learning media based of interactive videos on stoichiometry subject for tenth grade of senior high school. Feasibility of CHEMVID Tutorial was determined by the results of validation on 3 feasibility aspects (software engineering, learning design, and visual communication), students’s response to CHEMVID Tutorial, and shift in the level of understanding of student’s after using CHEMVID Tutorial in this research trial. This research was a development research with 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), although disseminate phase was excluded. This media was examined by 1 chemistry professor and 1 highschool chemistry teacher. CHEMVID Tutorial was validated by 2 chemistry professor and 1 highschool chemistry teacher. Trial was conducted on 15 XI-A students of SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. The results of this research shows that CHEMVID Tutorial is highly suited to used as learning media based from three aspects that validated with 87% of average percentage and from positive response by students in the trial with 88% of average percentage. Furthermore, there were shift on the understanding level of students that participated in trial. Understanding concept level was increased 43%, not understanding concept level was decreased 34% and misunderstanding concept level was decreased 9%.
