PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN E-BOOK INTERAKTIF BERORIENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON ELEKTROLIT (DEVELOPING INTERACTIVE E-BOOK ORIENTED TO CHARACTER EDUCATION AT ELEKTROLYTE AND NON ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION MAIN TOPIC)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian terhadap media oleh guru kimia dan dosen kimia, respon siswa dan penilaian karakter siswa untuk mengetahui kelayakan media. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan model 4D (Four D Models) yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan) dan Disseminate (penyebaran). Dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap pengembangan (develop). Kelayakan perangkat yang dikembangkan dilihat dari berdasarkan aspek penyajian materi, kualitas tampilan media, dan isi karakter yang melibatkan penilaian dari 3 validator dan respon dari 15 siswa serta tes karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-book yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena telah mendapatkan penilaian >61% dari skor maksimal untuk semua aspek yaitu kriteria penyajian materi sebesar 88,89% (sangat baik) berdasarkan penilaian dari validator dan 93,34% (sangat baik) berdasarkan respon siswa; kriteria kualitas tampilan media sebesar 86,90% berdasarkan penilaian validator dan 93,33% (sangat baik) berdasarkan respon siswa; kriteria isi karakter sebesar 90,00% (sangat baik) berdasarkan penilaian validator dan berdasarkan respon siswa SMA Negeri 2 Lamongan dengan prosentase rata-rata jawaban siswa sebesar 89,33% (sangat baik), serta berdasarkan hasil tes karakter siswa dengan prosentase rata-rata 88% (sangat baik) untuk penilaian karakter rasa ingin tahu dan 85% (sangat baik) untuk penilaian karakter gigih.

This study aimed to describe the results of an assessment of the media by chemistry teachers and lecture, student response and assessment of the character of the student to determine the feasibility of media. The type of this research is the development with 4D models that define, design, develop, and disseminate. Focuses of this research is only until develop stage. Feasibility devices developed based on the aspect seen from the presentation of the material, the quality of the display media, and content of characters involving 3 validator and response of 15 students as well as students' character test. The results showed that the e-book developed very suitable to be used as a medium of learning for assessment have gained> 61% of the maximum score for all aspects of the presentation of the material criteria of 88.89% (very good) based on the assessment of the validator and 93.34% (very good) based on students' responses; media display quality criteria based on assessment by 86.90% and 93.33% validator (very good) based on students' responses; criteria of character contents of 90.00% (very good) based on the assessment based on the response validator and 2 Lamongan high school students with an average percentage of 89.33% (very good) of students answer, and based on the test results of students with a percentage of the mean character average 88% (very good) for the assessment of the character of curiosity and 85% (very good) for the assessment of persistent character.
