PENGARUH MEDIA PERAGA RUMAH PLAMBING DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DIRECT INSTRUCTION PADA PEMAHAMAN KONSEP INSTALASI PLAMBING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA (STUDI DI SMK NEGERI 3 JOMBANG)

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik di sekolah tersebut masih kesulitan membayangkan rangkaian instalasi pada keadaan yang nyata jika guru mengajar hanya menggunakan media gambar sederhana yang dipresentasikan secara lisan. Inovasi yang dapat digunakan oleh guru agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran adalah dengan memilih metode dan media pembelajaran yang sesuai sehingga pembelajaran tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media peraga rumah plambing dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction pada pemahaman konsep instalasi plambing terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen, dengan bentuk desain eksperimen menggunakan quasy experimental design tipe nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada waktu semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Subyek penelitian menggunakan kelas X Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan tes. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran meliputi: 1) Silabus dengan prosentase sebesar 81,54 % dinyatakan sangat valid  , 2) Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dengan prosentase sebesar 81,43 % dinyatakan sangat valid, 3) Media pembelajaran dengan prosentase 79,11% dinyatakan valid oleh ahli media, 80 % dinyatakan valid oleh ahli materi dan 80,42 % dinyatakan valid oleh ahli madia dan ahli materi, 4) Soal test dengan prosentase sebesar 78, 3 % dinyatakan valid.

Hasil uji korelasi kelas TGB 1 menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara nilai pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dengan nilai rhitung= 0,501 > rtabel 0,329. Hasil uji korelasi kelas TGB 2 menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara nilai pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dengan nilai rhitung= 0,550 > rtabel 0,339. Hasil uji regresi kelas TGB 1 menunjukkan nilai thitung = 3,374 > ttabel = 1,691 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji regresi kelas TGB 2 menunjukkan nilai thitung = 3,721 > ttabel = 1,694  dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara nilai pengetahuan siswa dengan nilai ketrampilan pada pemahaman konsep instalasi plambing di SMK Negeri 3 Jombang. Penelitian tentang keterkaitan pengetahuan sebagai dasar keterampilan perlu dikaji lebih dalam.

This research was supported by students at the school who are still confused in imagining a series of installations in a real condition if the teachers teach only use a simple media presented verbally. Innovation which can be used by teachers to achieve the purpose of the study is choosing the method and learning media which is appropriate so that the process of the study can be succeeded optimally. The purpose of the research is to find out the influence of the plumbing house demonstration media with direct instruction learning model in the concept comprehension of plumbing installation to the student result of the learning.

The type of the research which used was a research experiments method, which the design of experiment type using quasy experimental design nonequivalent control group design type. Research was held on the even semester 2014/2015. The subject of the research used was the Building Drawing Technique X grade (TGB). Research instrument used was validation questioner sheet of learning tool and test. Data collection techniques were questioner and test of learning result. The results of the validation learning tool including: 1) Syllabus with percentage of 81, 54 % confirmed as a valid, 2) Learning Implementation Plan with percentage of 81,43 % confirmed as valid, 3) Learning Media with percentage of 79,11 % confirmed as a valid by the media expert, 80 % confirmed as a valid by the material expert and 80,42 % confirmed as a valid by the media expert and the material expert , 4) Question test percentage of 78 , 3 % confirmed as a valid.

The result of the corelasion class TGB 1 shows that, there is a significant influence between the value of students knowledge and the value of their skills with the value of rhitung= 0,501 > rtabel 0,329. The result of the corelasion class TGB 2 shows that, there is a significant influence between the value of students knowledge and the value of their skills with the value of rhitung= 0,550 > rtabel 0,339. The results of the regression class TGB 1 shows the value tcalculate = 3,374 > ttable = 1,691 with the significance value of 0,002 < 0,05, which means H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The results of the regression class TGB 2 shows the value tcalculate = 3,721 > ttable = 1,694 with the significance value of 0,002 < 0, 05 which means H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The results of research shows that there is a significant influence between the value of students knowledge and the value of their skills in understanding the concept of the plumbing installation in Vocational High schools 3 Jombang. Research knowledge as the basis of a relation skills need to be examined more in.
