PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE BUZZ GROUPS DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONVENSIONAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU BAHAN BANGUNAN KELAS X TGB SMK NEGERI 3 JOMBANG

Abstract

Berdasarkan data laporan nilai harian guru mata pelajaran Ilmu Bahan Bangunan  siswa kelas X TGB SMK Negeri 3 Jombang di semester gasal 2013/2014 pada kompetensi dasar mendiskripsikan bahan bangunan kayu, 45% siswa dinyatakan memenuhi KKM, sedangkan 55% siswa belum memenuhi KKM. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Buzz Groups dan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah True Eksperimental Design. Rancangan penelitian adalah Posttest Only Control Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 3 Jombang, jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) dan waktu penelitian dilakukan pada semester gasal 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X TGB 1 dengan jumlah 32 siswa sedangkan siswa kelas X TGB 2 yang terdiri dari 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar dan lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan uji-t dua pihak.

Hasil perhitungan uji normalitas kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa X_h² = 9,73 < X_t²= 11,070, sedangkan pada kelas control menunjukkan bahwa X_h²  = 9,24 < X_t²= 11,070, maka distribusi kedua data sampel tersebut dinyatakan berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa harga F_hitung=1,28  < F_tabel = 1,83, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa data tersebut dinyatakan homogen. Rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,16 dan rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas kontrol sebesar 66,41. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dua pihak menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_{hitung =} 3,17> nilai t_{tabel =} 2,00 artinya   H₀ ditolak dan H_a diterima. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Buzz Groups dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Bahan Bangunan kelas X TGB  di SMK Negeri 3 Jombang.

Based on data reported daily value of subject  teachers Building Materials Science class X TGB SMK Negeri 3 Jombang in odd semester 2013/2014 on the basis of competence describing the wooden building materials, 45% of students found to comply with KKM, while 55% of students do not meet the KKM. This study was conducted to determine the difference between the results of student learning cooperative learning model Buzz Groups and conventional learning models.

This type of research is experiment. Experimental design used is True Experimental Design. The study design is Posttest Only Control Design. This research was conducted at SMK 3 Jombang, majoring in Architecture Engineering (TGB) and the time of the research done on the odd semester 2015/2016. The samples used were students of class X TGB 1 with the number of 32 students while the students of class X TGB 2 which consists of 32 students. The research instrument used is the test result of learning and teaching device validation sheet. The data analysis technique used is the t-test of the two parties.

Normality test calculation results show that the experimental class X_h² = 9.73 <X_t² = 11.070, while the control class indicates that X_h² = 9.24 <X_t² = 11.070, then the distribution of the sample data is expressed normally distributed. Homogeneity test results showed that the price of F_count = 1,28 < F_table = 1.83, it can be concluded that the data is otherwise homogeneous. The average learning outcomes in the experimental class for an average of 75.16 and learning outcomes in the control class is 66.41. Hypothesis testing using t-test two parties indicate that the value of t_count = 3.17> value t_table = 2.00 means that H₀ is rejected and H_a accepted. There are differences in student learning outcomes significantly between cooperative learning model Buzz Groups and conventional learning models on the subjects of Building Materials Science TGB X class at SMK Negeri 3 Jombang.
