PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN GAMBAR KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 5 SURABAYA

Abstract

Gambar Konstruksi Bangunan merupakan mata pelajaran yang terdapat pada program keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), gambar konstruksi bangunan digambar secara manual sehingga siswa memiliki kemampuan dasar teknik menggambar yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran  model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), (2) mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran CTL (3) mengetahui hasil belajar  siswa pada Siklus II dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada Siklus I, (4) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model CTL mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terdiri atas 2 siklus dari 4 tahapan : tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan dan tahap refleksi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan perangkat model pembelajaran model CTL memperoleh rata-rata 90 %, sehingga perangkat layak digunakan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran. Terdapat peningkatan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran CTL untuk aktifitas guru mengajar rata-rata peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 3,5 menjadi 4. Sedangkan aktifitas siswa belajar mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah 2,8 menjadi 3,3. Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa mencapai rerata 71 pada siklus I menjadi 81 pada siklus II, dimana 26 orang siswa (92,9 %) memiliki nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar ≥75, sedangkan hasil belajar psikomotorik siswa pada siklus I rerata 78 menjadi 80 pada siklus II, dimana 24 orang siswa (83 %) memiliki nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar ≥75, sedangkan yang tidak tuntas sejumlah 5 orang siswa atau (17 %) karena memiliki nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar ≤75 dari 29 siswa mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan.

Sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh rata-rata 66 % dari siswa atau sebanyak 19 siswa menyatakan setuju menggunakan model pembelajaran CTL. Sedangkan 34 % atau sebanyak 10 siswa menyatakan kurang setuju menggunakan model CTL pada mata pelajaran gambar konstruksi bangunan.

Abstract

Pictures of Building Construction is the subject contained in the membership program Architecture Engineering (TGB) in Vocational High School (SMK), building construction drawings manually drawn so that students have the basic ability to draw good technique. The purpose of this study is (1) determine the feasibility of the learning device models Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), (2) determine materialize learning model CTL (3) find out the results of students in the second cycle compared with the results of student learning in Cycle I, (4) know the students' response to the model CTL subjects building construction drawings. The research method is the model of Action Research (PTK) consists of 2 cycles of four phases: planning, implementation stage, the stage of observation and reflection stages.

The results showed the feasibility study model CTL model earned an average of 90%, making the device suitable for use in learning activities. There is an increased CTL materialize learning model for the activities of teachers teach an average increase from the first cycle to the second cycle is 3.5 to 4. The activities students learn has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle is 2.8 to 3.3. Improved cognitive achievement of students achieving an average 71 in the first cycle to 81 in the second cycle, in which 26 students (92.9%) had a ≥75 mastery learning outcomes, whereas psychomotor learning outcomes of students in the first cycle averages 78 to 80 in the second cycle , in which 24 students (83%) had values ​​of ≥75 mastery learning outcomes, while not complete a number of 5 students or (17%) because it has a value of ≤75 mastery learning outcomes of students 29 subjects building construction drawings.

While the results of questionnaire responses students gain an average of 66% of the students or as many as 19 students agreed using model CTL. Whereas 34% or as many as 10 students expressed less agreed to use a model CTL on the subjects of building construction drawings.
