PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONVENSIONAL PADA MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN DI SMK NEGERI 1 MOJOKERTO

Abstract

Dari wawancara prasurvei yang dilakukan terhadap guru Konstruksi Bangunan X TGB SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto hasil wawancara menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015 mendapatkan rata-rata 50.18%. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto, jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) dan waktu penelitian dilakukan pada semester gasal 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X TGB 1 dengan jumlah 29 siswa sedangkan siswa kelas X TGB 2 yang terdiri dari 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar dan lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, lebih mudah memahami pelajaran dan dapat bertukar pendapat dengan siswa yang lain. Hasil analisis deskriptif model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat ketika mengunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai rata- rata dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray 78.06, lebih tinggi dari dapa model pembelajaran konvensional 71.76, dan grafik normalitas daerah kanan grafik lebih luas dari daerah kiri grafik.

The pre-survey interview with the teacher of tenth grade Buildings Construction TGB class of SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto shows that the subjection mean of students learning output in 2014/2015 period is about 50.18%. Based on that result, this research is conducted to know the difference of students learning output between Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model and conventional learning model.

This study uses descriptive method to analyse the topic discussed. It is conducted in SMK Negeri 1 Mojokerto, especially Teknik Gambar Bangunan major, during the odd semester of 2015/2016 period. The samples used are 29 tenth grade students of TGB 1 class and 30 tenth grade students of TGB 2 class. The research instruments used in this study are the learning output test and the validation form of the study device. The data are analysed using descriptive analysis technic.

The result shows that students’ learning output is different between using Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model and conventional learning model. The result of the descriptive analysis shows that Two Stay Two Stray learning model is more effective than the conventional one. The students learning output is rising when uses Two Stay Two Stray learning model. It can be seen from the subjection mean percentage of the use of Two Stay Two Stray learning model 78.06, which is higher than the use of conventional learning model 71.76, and the normality graphic which the right area of the graphic is wider than the left area.
