PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POP – UP BOOK PADA MATERI MACAM-MACAM PONDASI PADA MATA PELAJARAN KONSTRUKSI BANGUNAN DI KELAS X TGB SMKN 1 BENDO MAGETAN

Abstract

Keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar banyak dipengaruhi oleh rencana pembelajaran yang direncanakan dan dipersiapkan di kelas. Salah satu komponen yang membantu terwujudnya keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran sehingga siswa mudah menyerap pelajaran yang diberikan. Mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang memerlukan pemahaman dan penjelasan yang jelas sehingga diperlukan media untuk membantu siswa dalam memahami pelajaran yaitu dengan menggunakan media pop up book. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mendapatkan media pembelajaran pop up book yang layak sebagai media belajar alternatif, (2) mengetahui keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran pop up book, (3) Untuk mendapatkan informasi hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran pop up book, (4). mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran pop up book.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) yang terdiri dari tahapan (1) tahap potensi dan masalah, (2) tahap pengumpulan data, (3) tahap desain produk, (4) tahap validasi desain, (5) tahap revisi desain, (6) tahap ujicoba produk,. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TGB SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan dua kali pertemuan untuk mengetahui hasil respon siswa, hasil uji belajar siswa, kelayakan media serta keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran pop book.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai kelayakan media pembelajaran pop up book oleh validator mendapat nilai 4,19 dengan persentase 83,8% yang termasuk dalam kriteria “sangat baik” sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, (2) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru ditinjau dari hasil pengamatan guru oleh pengamat selama proses belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran pop up book mendapatkan nilai keseluruhan 4,04 dengan persentase 80,9% dan termasuk dalam kategori “baik”, (3) hasil belajar siswa dengan penggunaan media pelajaran pop up book pada penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 78,69 dan mampu melampaui nilai KKM (75), (4) hasil angket respon siswa mendapatkan nilai sebesar 4,15 dengan persentase 83,1% dan masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” sehingga media pop up book dapat diterapkan dan diterima oleh siswa.

ABSTRACT

The success of the learning process is heavily influenced by the lesson plan, planned and prepared in class. One of the components that help to achieve the success of the learning process is the use of learning media so that students easily absorb the lesson given. Subjects building construction is one of the lessons that require understanding and a clear explanation so that necessary media help understand the lesson that is by using the media pop-up book. The purpose of this study are: (1) to get the instructional media pop-up book that qualify as media alternative learning, (2) determine teachers' skills in using learning media pop-up book, (3) to obtain information on the results of student learning using learning media pop up book, (4) determine students' response to instructional media pop-up book.

This study is a research & development (Research and Development / R & D) which consists of the step (1) the stage of potential and problems, (2) the data collection phase, (3) the product design stage, (4) the stage of design validation, (5) the stage design revisions, (6) the testing phase of products. Goal of this research is the students of class X TGB SMK 1 Bendo Magetan. The research was carried with two meetings to find out the results of the students responses, students test results, the feasibility of media and implementation using learning media pop book.

The result of the research shows that: (1) the value of learning media of pop up book by validator got value 4,19 with percentage of 83,8% which is included in "very good" criterion so it is proper to be used as instructional media, (2) teacher learning implementation From the observation of teachers by observers during the learning process using learning media pop up book get the overall value 4,04 with percentage of 80,9% and included in the category of "good", (3) student learning outcomes with the use of media lesson pop up book on this research gets an average score of 78,69 and is able to surpass the KKM score (75), (4) the results of the student response questionnaire get a value of 4,15 with the percentage of 83,1% and included in the category of "excellent" so that the media pop up book Applicable and accepted by students.
