PENGARUH GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH DAN KELENGKAPAN PERPUSTAKAAN TERHADAP MINAT MEMBACA SISWA DI SMK PGRI 1 GRESIK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dan kelengkapan perpustakaan terhadap minat membaca siswa di SMK PGRI 1 Gresik. Progam literasi sekolah akan menjadikan siswa terbiasa  membaca buku. dengan kebiasaan ini siswa akan mempunyai wawasan yang luas dan mampu berkembang dengan baik.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di SMK PGRI 1 Gresik jurusan TGB berjumlah 37 siswa, 5 guru dan 1 kepala perpustakaan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Angket, Metode wawancara dan Metode observasi. Teknik analisis data ada 2 tahap. Tahap (1) adalah analisis uji coba, tahap (2) adalah analisis data sebenarnya yang mencakup uji normalitas, uji korelasi , uji regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Pengaruh GLS terhadap minat membaca siswa diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,009. Pengaruh Kelengkapan perpustakaan terhadap minat membaca diperoleh nilai signifikansi = 0,000. Pengaruh GLS dan kelengkapan perpustakaan terhadap minat membaca diperoleh nilai Sig. F change = 0,00. Karena nilai Sig. F change = 0,00 < 0,05.. GLS dapat mempengaruhi minat membaca siswa sebesar 17,2 %, kelengkapan perpustakaan dapat mempengaruhi minat membaca sebesar 40,3 %, GLS dan kelengkapan perpustakaan dapat mempengaruhi minat membaca sebesar 41,6. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulakn bahwah GLS dan kelengkapan perpustakaan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat membaca siswa di SMK PGRI 1 Gresik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of School Literacy Movement (GLS) and the completeness of the library of interest in reading students in SMK PGRI 1 Gresik. Interest in reading students will also increase with the number of facilities and the diversity of books in the library. School literacy programs will also make students accustomed to reading books, with this habit students will have a broad knowledge and able to develop well.

The research method used is quantitative, this research is expost facto research. Technique of taking data using simple random sampling technique. Samples in this study were students of class X in SMK PGRI 1 Gresik building drawing techniques (TGB) majors amounted to 37 students, 5 teachers and 1 head of the library. Data collection using Questionnaire, Interview Method and Observation Method. Data analysis techniques there are 2 stages. Phase (1) is a pilot analysis, stage (2) is a real data analysis that includes normality test, correlation test, simple regression test and multiple regression.

Based on research results Influence of GLS on reading interest of students obtained significance value 0.009. Influence Library completeness to interest in reading obtained value of significance = 0,000. The influence of GLS and the completeness of the library on reading interest was obtained by Sig value. F change = 0.00. Because the value of Sig. F change = 0.00 <0.05 .. GLS can affect reading interest of students by 17.2%, library completeness can affect reading interest by 40.3%, GLS and library completeness can affect reading interest of 41.6.
Thus it can be concluded that the GLS and the completeness of the library have a positive effect on students' interest in SMK PGRI 1 Gresik.
