ANALISIS TINGKAT PEMENUHAN FASILITAS BENGKEL KERJA KOMPETENSI KEAHLIAN TEKNIK BANGUNAN SMK NEGERI 1 SIDOARJO

Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana untuk siswa SMK sangatlah penting, terlebih lagi sarana dan prasarana untuk kegiatan praktik Teknik Bangunan yang berfungsi untuk melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa di bidang konstruksi bangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang kesesuaian antara kelengkapan peralatan kerja, kelengkapan ruang kerja, dan kelengkapan ruang instruktur dan penyimpanan bengkel bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ruang dan fasilitas bengkel bangunan Jurusan Teknik Bangunan di SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah standar luas bengkel bangunan, jenis dan jumlah peralatan kerja, dan standar  ruang instruktur serta ruang penyimpan di SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa metode observasi, metode wawancara dan metode dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan pedoman dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala persentase, proses perhitungan persentase dilakukan dengan cara mengkalikan hasil bagi skor riil dengan skor ideal dengan seratus persen.

Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 41 jenis alat kerja kayu yang dimiliki oleh bengkel kerja Teknik Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo sebanyak 24 atau 51% alat kerja kayu  memenuhi standar sedangkan 17 atau 49% belum memenuhi standar, peralatan kerja ukur tanah 10 atau 63% memenuhi standar sedangkan 6 atau 37% memenuhi standar, peralatan kerja gambar grafis atau 86% alat kerja gambar  memenuhi standar sedangkan 1 atau 14% alat kerja gambar masih belum memenuhi standar, sedangkan untuk semua ruang kerja bengkel tidak memenuhi standar, dan untuk kelegkapan ruang instruktur dan kelengkapan penyimpanan bahan sudah memenuhi standar.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure for vocational students is very important, especially the facilities and infrastructure for practice activities that serves to train and improve students' skills in the field of building construction. The purpose of this study is to know about the suitability between the completeness of work equipment, the completeness of work space, and the completeness of the instructor room and storage workshop building SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.

The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The subject of this research is the space and facilities of building workshop of Building Engineering Department at SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. The object of this research is the wide standard of workshop, type and amount of work equipment, and standard of instructor room and storage room at SMKN 1 Sidoarjo. Technique of collecting data in this research that is in the form of method observation, method interview and method documentation. This research instrument uses observation guides, interview guides and documentation guides. Data analysis technique using percentage scale, percentage calculation process is done by multiplying the results for the real score with an ideal score with one hundred percent.

The result of the research shows that from 41 types of wood working tools owned by Engineering Building Worker of SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo as much as 24 or 51% of wood working tools meet the standard while 17 or 49% have not meet the standard, ground equipment 10 or 63% standard, while 6 or 37% meet the standard, graphics drawing equipment or 86% of the drawing work tools meet the standard while 1 or 14% of the drawing tools still not meet the standards, while for all workspace workshops do not meet the standards, and for kelegkapan instructor room and completeness of material storage already meets the standards.
