ANALYSIS STRENGHT, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES, AND THREATS (SWOT) PEMBINAAN PRESTASI ATLET PANAHAN DI MAYANGKARA ARCHERY CLUB LAMONGAN

Olahraga panahan merupakan olahraga yang memerlukan skill khusus, baik ketepatan, koordinasi maupun melatih mental dan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan prestasi olahraga panahan, harusnya pihak-pihak yang terkait tidak hanya atlet dan pelatih saja, tetapi berbagai pihak baik dari pengurus organisasi dan juga pemerintah harusnya ikut dala upaya mempebaiki prestasi olahraga panahan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pembinaan prestasi atlet panahan di Mayangkara Achery Club Lamongan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Dimana analisis SWOT akan menjabarkan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dalam pembinaan di Mayangkara Archery Club. Jenis penelitian Kualitatif Deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian meliputi atlet, pelatih, dan pengurus di Mayangkara Archery Club.

Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa prestasi atlet panahan yang diraih Mayangkara Archery Club berdasarkan pada manajemen pembinaan prestasi yang memenuhi standart yang baik. Dengan penjabaran sebagai berikut : kekuatan yang dimiliki Mayangkara Archery Club terletak pada Atlet yang berprestasi dan berbakat, pelatih yang berlisensi, dan juga manajemen organisasi yang baik. Kelemahan terletak pada kurang sarana prasarana. Peluang yang dimiliki yaitu pada dukungan dari pemerintah terhadap pembinaan. Untuk ancaman sendiri terletak pada kurangnya support finansial orang tua atlet.

Abstract

The Archery sport is a sport that requires a special skill, both accuracy, coordination or mental trained and improving physical conditions to be healthy. In effort to improve the quality and achievements of sports archery, the parties that associated are not only the coaches and players but various parties either Government managers can find the problem’s solution. The purpose of the study is to analyze the coaching of archery athletes’ achievements in Mayangkara Achery Club Lamongan using SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis will describe strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of coaching in Mayangkara Archery Club. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of the study include athletes, coaches, and organizers of Mayangkara Archery Club.

The results of the research obtained that the achievements of athletes archery that earned by Mayangkara Archery Club is based on the achievement of coaching management that meets the right standard. With the following description: the strengths that owned by Mayangkara Archery Club lies on the athletes’ achievements and talents, licensed trainer, and also a good management’s organization. Yet the weakness lies in the lack of sport’s infrastructures. The opportunities that owned by them is the supports of Government for coaching archery sport. The threat lies on the lack of parents’ financial support of the athletes.
