Pendidikan merupakan salah satu kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan oleh setiap warga negara. Selain itu pendidikan juga merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Karena pendidikan merupakan suatu proses untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dimasa yang akan datang. Melalui pendidikan jasmani, siswa diarahkan ke dalam aktivitas jasmani termasuk keterampilan olahraga, salah satunya pembelajaran dribble bola basket. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah sehingga perlu adanya perubahan model pembelajaran yang dianggap mampu untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti merumuskan masalah : 1. Apakah ada pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division terhadap hasil belajar dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun. 2. Seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division terhadap hasil belajar dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besarnya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division terhadap hasil belajar dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun Populasi yang digunakan peneliti adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun yang terdiri dari 7 kelas yang berjumlah 226 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 33 siswa dan diambil dengan cara teknik cluster randm sampling. Hasil Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1. Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division terhadap hasil belajar dribble bola basket studi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun. Pengaruh ini dapat terlihat pada nilai rata-rata pre-test 15.925, post-test 13.666, standart deviasi pre-test 2.783, post-test 2.712, varian pre-test 7.747, post-test 7.359, waktu tercepat pre-test 10.47, post-test 8.65, waktu terlama pre-test 21.40, post-test 19.50. Besarnya peningkatan yaitu sebesar 14.19 %. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif student teams achievement division terhadap pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Madiun.

Education is one of the obligations that must carry out by every citizen. Beside, education is also important matter to human live. Therefore, education is a process to increasing human resource quality so that it can increase living quality on future. Through physical education, student will directed on physical

activity such sport skill, one of them is basketball dribble. Therefore, it will need the improvement on physical education learning at school that will need the change of learning model that considered able to overcome this problem. Based on those matter, so researcher will formulate the problems: 1) is there any effect and how big the effect of the application of cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division (STAD) to basketball dribble learning result especially on eighth grade student of junior high schools 1 Madiun?, 2) how big is the effect of cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division (STAD) to basketball dribble learning result of eighth grade student of junior high schools 1 Madiun? This research aim to find out the effect and the effect rate of the application of cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division (STAD) to basketball dribble learning result of eighth grade student of junior high schools 1 Madiun.

Population that used by researcher is eighth grade student of junior high schools 1 Madiun that consisted of 7 classes that amounted of 226 students. Sample of this research is student of class VIII D as experiment group that amounted of 33 students and that taken by cluster random sampling technique. Research result can be concluded that: 1. There is effect from the application of cooperative learning model type student teams achievement division (STAD) to basketball dribble learning result on class VIII of junior high schools 1 Madiun. This effectcan be seen from the average score of pre test as big as 15.925, post test as big as 13.666, standard deviation of pre test 2.783, post test 2.712, pre test variance 7.747, post test 7.359, fastest time on pre test 10.47, post test 8.65, longest time of pre test 21.40, post test 19.50. The amount of improvement is as big as 14.19 %. So it can be conclude that the application of cooperative learning model student teams achievement division (STAD) have an effect to the eighth grade student of junior high schools 1 Madiun basketball dribble learning result.
