Mata pelajaran PJOK sangat penting. Untuk pencapaian pada pembelajaran memerlukan sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang memadahi dan tersedia. Apabila tidak adanya sarana dan prasarana akan menjadi kendala yang berarti bagi guru dan siswa, karena menghambat proses pembelajaran. Kurangnya sarana dan prasarana akan menghambat gerak pada siswa, sehingga siswa akan mengantri dalam menggunakan peralatan. Sehingga siswa akan bosan mengikuti pelajaran PJOK. Maka sarana dan prasarana harus di sesuaikan dengan jumlah siswa dan mengkondisikannya dengan baik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana di SMP se-Kecamatan Kebomas Kab. Gresik, khususnya di SMP Negeri 1 Kebomas, SMP Negeri 2 Kebomas dan SMP Islam Manbaul Ulum, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan menggunakan instrumen PDPJOI. Dari hasil penelitian ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana ada 2 sekolah yang mendapatkan kategori “ C “ yaitu SMP Negeri 1 Kebomas dan SMP Negeri 2 Kebomas sedangkan ada 1 sekolah mendapatkan kategori “ B “ yaitu SMP Islam Manbaul Ulum. Jadi rata-rata ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang ada di SMP se-Kecematan Kab. Gresik, sebesar 58 % mendapatkan kategori C ( cukup ).

ABSTRACT

The subject of physical education is very crusial. To reach the goal of education, it is needed to fulfill and complete the facilities. It will be difficult for the teachers if there are no good facilities that is supported. The lack of supported facilities will abstruct the student move. Asa result, the student will be in line to use the sport equipments, consequently, the student will get bored to join the lesson of physical education thus, the supported facilities have to be matched with the amount of the students and well conditioned. The purpose of the study is to reveal the availability of the sport facilities in junior high schools in Kebomas Subdistrict, Gresik District, especially in State Junior High School 1 Kebomas and State Junior High School 2 Kebomas, also Islamic Junior High School Of Manbaul Ulum by using Desriptive quantitative method and using the instrument of PDPJOI. From the study result, the avaibility of sport facilities in 2 scholl which get “ C ” category, that is State Junior High Schools 1 Kebomas and State Junior High Schools 2 Kebomas. Meanwhile, there is a school which get “ B “ category that is Islamic Junior High School of Manbaul Ulum. Thus, the availability of sport facilities in Junior High School in Gresik District is 58% , and get “ C “ category ( Enough ).
