Perbandingan Motivasi Belajar dan Minat Membaca Antara Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dengan Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo

Setiap orang memiliki motivasi beajar dan minat membaca yang berbeda-beda, seperti halnya pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dengan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo yang merupakan sekolah khusus olahraga dan sekolah sekolah umum. Di SMA Negeri Olahraga jawa Timur memiliki kebiasaan sebelum memulai pembelajaran dengan latihan, sedangkan di SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo memulai pembelajaran dengan aktiitas pembelajaran di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar dan minat membaca antara siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dengan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 54 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dan 54 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala angket motivasi belajar dan minat membaca. Analisis data menggunakan Uji T. Dari hasil peneitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dengan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. Sedangkan terdapat perbedaan minat membaca antara siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur dengan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. Berdasarkan hasil presentase dari masing-masing indikator minat membaca, yang paling tertinggi adalah presentase dari indikator keempat yaitu keinginan mencari bahan bacaan buku yang terdapat pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur yang memperoleh presentase sebanyak 30% sementara siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo memperoleh presentase sebanyak 26,8 %. Sedangkan nilai presentase tertinggi kedua di SMA Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur terdapat pada indikator yang kedua yaitu kebutuhan terhadap bacaan buku sebesar 22,1 %, dan nilai presentase yang tertinggi ketiga yaitu ketertarikan terhadap buku sebesar 15,5 %, kemudian nilai presentase indikator yang pertama yaitu perasaan senang membaca buku sebesar 10,3 %.

Everyone has different learning motivation and reading interest, just like in the class XI student of Sport State Senior High School of East Java with class XI Senior High School 2 Sidoarjo which is a special school of sports and public school. In Sport State Senior High School of East Java have a habit before starting learning with practice, while Senior High School Sidoarjo start learning with learn activities..The purpose of this study is 1) to Know the difference of learning motivation and reading interest in the students of class XI Sport State Senior High School and students of class XI Senior High School 2 Sidoarjo. The sample in this research is 54 students of class XI Sport State Senior High School of East Java with 54 students of class XI Senior High School Sidoarjo. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire motivation to learn and interest reading. Data Analysis using Test T.From the result of this study it can be concluded that there is no difference in learning motivation between students of class XI Sport State Senior High School of East Java with students of class XI Senior High School. While there are differences in reading interest between students of class XI Sport State Senior High School of East Java with class XI Senior High School 2 Sidoarjo. Based on the results of the percentage of each reading interest indicator, the highest is the percentage of the indicator of the desire to find reading material found in the studensts of class XI Sports State Senior High School of East Java who get a percentage of 30% and students of class XI Senior High School 2 Sidoarjo get percentage as much as 26,8 %. While the second highest percentage value in Sport State Senior High School of East Java in on the second indicator is the need for reading books of 22,1 % ant the third percentage value is the interest of the book by 15,5 %, then te value of the first indicator percentage is 10,3 % feel good about reading books.
