PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PAINTING STONE DALAM CIRCUIT TRAINING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MOTORIK SISWA TUNANETRA

Pemberian variasi materi dan media pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan di Sekolah Luar Biasa A YPAB Surabaya dirasa sangat minim, yang berdampak pada rendahnya keterampilan motorik siswa tunanetra. Guru membutuhkan inovasi media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa saat belajar, agar siswa lebih aktif bergerak saat pembelajaran. Artikel ini memberikan tawaran solusi berupa media pembelajaran painting stone yang terbuat dari batu koral dan dilukis menggunakan cat timbul agar dapat diraba siswa. Setelah mengetahui instruksi pada painting stone, siswa melakukan gerakan di circuit training. Tujuan dari program ini meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa tunanetra melalui penerapan media painting stone dalam circuit training pada siswa SLB A YPAB Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain one group pre test- post test design. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive, yaitu siswa kategori buta total kelas II – V. Pengambilan data dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali pertemuan, yaitu pre-test, treatment dan post-test. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dapat diketahui hasil uji t pre-test dan post-test mempunyai nilai thitung sebesar 12,6 > ttabel sebesar 2,365, yang menunjukkan hipotesis diterima. Rata-rata nilai siswa tunanetra saat pre-test 40,44 dan pada saat post-test menjadi 70,16, sehingga terdapat selisih 29,72 pada rata-rata nilai siswa dengan peningkatan hasil tes sebesar 73,5%. Penerapan media pembelajaran painting stone dalam circuit training dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa tunanetra.

Abstract

The variations of material and teaching media for Physical Education in Sekolah Luar Biasa A YPAB Surabaya is considered insufficient, which has impacted into low motor skills of blind students. Teachers require learning media innovations which increase students interest in learning, consequentially triggering the students to be more active in learning. This article offers a solution for learning media of painting stone made of coral and painted using embossed paint in order to make it perceptible by students. The purpose is to improve the motor skills of blind through application of learning media painting stone in circuit for students of SLB A YPAB Surabaya. This is an experimental research using a one group pre test-post test design. The sample was selected by using purposive technique, consisting of total blind student in grades II – V. The data collection has been conducted about five meetings; pre-test, treatment and post-test. Based on statistical analysis it can be concluded that the result of the pre-test and post-test have a tcount of 12,6 > ttable of 2,365, which indicates an alternative hypothesis is accepted. The average value of blind students during pre-test 40,44 and 70,16 in the post-test, so on average there is 29,72 difference of student scores with an increase in the result of 73,5%. The application of learning media painting stone in circuit training can improve motor skills of blind students.
