HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DILUAR JAM PELAJARAN PJOK TERHADAP TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI SISWA

Semua bentuk kegiatan manusia memerlukan aktivitas fisik atau jasmani. Aktivitas fisik sangat bermanfaat bagi tubuh, kesehatan mental dan menjadikan hidup berkualitas agar tetap produktif serta bugar sepanjang hari. Melakukan aktivitas fisik secara teratur dapat membantu dalam hal berpikir serta mengambil keputusan. Bagi pelajar sendiri memiliki kebugaran jasmani yang baik akan meningkatkan perilaku dan prestasi yang baik dikelas. Dengan ini peneliti bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apakah terdapat hubungan antara kondisi kebugaran jasmani pelajar/siswa terhadap aktivitas fisik sehari hari yang dilakukan baik di dalam maupun diluar sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional. Pada saat pelaksanaan, peneliti meminta siswa mengisi angket kuesioner untuk mengetahui apa sajakah aktivitas siswa selama satu minggu terakhir kemudian peneliti juga menggunakan instrumen mft untuk mengukur VO2max pada siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 6 Surabaya. Peneliti menggunakan teknik random sampling untuk menetapkan sampel dalam penelitian. Sampel pada penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas VII pada 9 kelas yang berjumlah 333 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil data kuesioner angket aktivitas fisik dan hasil tes MFT dari total 333 siswa disebutkan bahwa 130 siswa memiliki aktivitas fisik yang sangat rendah, 185 siswa memiliki aktivitas fisik rendah dan siswa yang memiliki aktivitas fisik sedang terdapat 18 siswa. Kemudian, terdapat 326 siswa tergolong memiliki tingkat kebugaran yang sangat kurang, dan 7 siswa sisa nya dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

Every human activity requires physical activity. All of physical activities are very beneficial for the human body, mental health and the quality of life. It is beneficial to keep productive throughout the day. By doing several physical activities regularly, it can help us in thinking positively and making decisions better. For students, by having a good physical education will help them to increase motivation and good achievement in class. By the reason, this research conducted to find out whether there is a relationship between the students’ physical condition with their daily physical activities which were done both inside and outside the school. This research was descriptive research which used a correlational research design. During the implementation, the researcher asked students to fill out the questionnaires in order to find out what were the students’ recent activities during the in a week. The researcher also used Multistage Fitness Test or MFT as the instrument to measure the students’ VO2max. This study was conducted at SMPN 6 Surabaya. The researchers used random sampling techniques in conducting the research. Moreover, the sample of this study were 333 students of VII graders in 9 classes. Based on the results of both from the questionnaire of physical activities and the MFT test showed that 130 students have very low physical activity, 185 students have low physical activity and 18 students have medium physical activity. Furthermore, there were 326 students who were classified in to very less physical activity, and the rest 7 students were left were classified in to less category of physical activity.
