Model pembelajaran picture and picture adalah salah satu bentuk dari pembelajaran kooperatif yang memiliki ciri-ciri aktif, inovatif dan menyenangkan. Siswa lebih menyukai hal-hal visual seperti gambar sehingga motivasi siswa meningkat dalam proses pembelajaran. Peningkatan motivasi siswa akan mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran dan tujuan pembelajaran lebih bisa dicapai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture tentang hasil belajar keterampilan dribble bola basket siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan dribble bola basket siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, rata-rata dan simpangan baku pretest keterampilan dribble bola basket sebesar 6,73±1,36 sedangkan posttest sebesar 8,67±0,88. Hasil dari uji T berpasangan telah menunjukkan nilai 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara hasil pre-test dengan post-test atau terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 21 Surabaya. Kemudian peningkatan yang dihasilkan dari pemberian model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan dribble bola basket sebesar 28,73 %.

Abstract

The picture and picture learning model is one form of cooperative learning which has active, innovative and fun characteristics. Students prefer visual things in example picture. Furthermore, students motivation increases in the learning process. The increasement of motivation will affect the learning process and learning goals are more attainable. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of picture and picture learning models on the learning outcomes of basketball dribble skills in eighth grade students of State Junior High School 21 Surabaya and to find out how much influence the picture and picture learning model has on the learning outcomes of basketball dribble skills in eighth grade students of State Junior High School 21 Surabaya. This research is a type of quasi- experimental research, with a quantitative approach. The research design uses one group pre-test post-test design. The results showed the average and standard deviation of the basketball dribble skills pretest were 6.73 ± 1.36 while the posttest was 8.67 ± 0.88. The paired t test results showed a value of 0,000 which means there is a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test or there is a significant effect of giving a picture and picture learning model to the learning outcomes of basketball dribble skills in class VIII students at State Junior High School 21 Surabaya. Then the increase resulting from the provision of picture and picture learning models to the learning outcomes of basketball dribble skills by 28.73%.
