PENGARUH PENGUATAN VERBAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BAWAH BOLAVOLI

Riset ini memiliki tujuan guna memahami adanya pengaruh penguatan verbal pada hasil belajar passing bawah bolavoli. Penguatan merupakan respon pada perilaku yang bisa meningkatkan kemungkinan berulangnya kembali perilaku tersebut. Tujuan pemberian penguatan pada proses pembelajaran yaitu untuk meningkatkan perhatian peserta didik terhadap pelajaran, merangsang sekaligus meningkatkan motivasi dalam belajar dan membina tingkah laku produktif peserta didik. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu, pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sasaran penelitian adalah Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 11 Surabaya dengan populasi berjumlah 10 kelas dari kelas XI, metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling dan mendapatkan kelas XI IPA 3 dengan jumlah 36 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang dipergunakan penelitian ini yaitu, penilaian dari ranah pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pemberian penguatan verbal, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar passing bawah bolavoli pada kelas XI IPA 3 di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 11 Surabaya. Hal ini terbukti berdasarkan pada hasil uji beda sampel berpasangan yaitu nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan besar pengaruh pemberian penguatan verbal dibuktikan dengan perhitungan persentase nilai pretest dan posttest pengetahuan sebesar 18,59% dan keterampilan sebesar 31,16%.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the effect of verbal reinforcement on learning outcomes under volleyball passing. Reinforcement is a response to behavior that can increase the likelihood of the behavior returning. The purpose of providing reinforcement in the learning process is to increase students attention to the lesson, stimulate and increase motivation in learning and foster students productive behavior. This research uses quasi-experimental research, quantitative approach with one group pretest-posttest design. The target of the research is Surabaya State Senior High School 11 with a population of 10 classes from class XI, the sampling method uses cluster random sampling and obtains class XI Science 3 with a total of 36 students as research samples. The instrument used in this study is the assessment of the realm of knowledge and skills. Based on the results of research on the provision of verbal reinforcement there is a significant influence on learning outcomes under volleyball passing in class XI Science 3 in Surabaya State Senior High School 11. This was proven based on the results of the paired sample difference test, which was a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05 and the effect of giving verbal reinforcement was evidenced by the calculation of the percentage of pretest and posttest knowledge of 18,59% and skills of 31,16%.
