MOTIVASI PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER PENCAK SILAT DI SMA NEGERI 1 CERME

Pada saat ini, kondisi Negara Indonesia sedang mengalami pandemi Covid-19 yang berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Hampir selama 1 tahun pandemi ini berlangsung yang mengakibatkan kegiatan intra sekolah dan ekstrakurikuler sekolah berhenti sementara. Prestasi Ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat di SMA Negeri 1 Cerme saat ini tidak produktif lagi dikarenakan sekolah tidak beroperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi peserta ekstrakurikuler pencak silat di SMA Negeri 1 Cerme, selain itu juga untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik siswa dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler pencak silat di SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif non eksperimen menggunakan metode survei mengisi angket kuesioner melalui googleform. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total populasi dengan sebanyak 20 orang yang mengikuti Ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat di SMA Negeri 1 Cerme sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa motivasi keseluruhan siswa memperoleh hasil persentase 81,20% dengan kategori Baik. Sedangkan motivasi intrinsik siswa memperoleh hasil persentase 86,91% dengan kategori Baik, dan motivasi ekstrinsik siswa memperoleh hasil persentase 75,85% dengan kategori Cukup.

Abstract

At this time, the condition of the State of Indonesia is experiencing a Covid-19 pandemic one of which has an impact in the world of education. Almost 1 year pandemic took place which resulted in intraschool and extracurricular activities of the school stopped temporarily. The extracurricular achievements of pencak silat at Senior High School 1 Cerme are no longer productive because the school is no longer operating. This study aims to find out the motivation of extracurricular participants of pencak silat at Senior High School 1 Cerme, in addition to knowing the level of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation of student in following the extracurricular of pencak silat at Senior High School 1 Cerme. This research is a descriptive research with a non-experimental quantitative approach using survey methods to fill questionnaire questionnaires trough gooleform. Sampling techniques in this study is total population with a 20 people who follow the Extracurricular Pencak Silat at Senior High School 1 Cerme as a response. The result of data processing research showed that the overall motivation of student obtained a percentage of 81,20% with the good category. While the intrinsic motivation of students obtained a percentage of 86,91% with the good category, and extrinsic motivation of student obtained a percentage result of 75,85% with the category enough.
