HUBUNGAN GOAL ORIENTATION DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN PJOK DISAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel goal orientation dengan variabel motivasi belajar PJOK pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya berjumlah 414 dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 222 (laki-laki: 96 dan perempuan: 126) menggunakan quota sampling sesuai dengan hasil penghitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket goal orientation dan motivasi belajar dari hasil adopsi yang menggunakan skala likert dengan 4 skala. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan task orientation sebanyak 46 siswa (20,7%), siswa dengan ego orientation sebanyak 148 siswa (66,7%), dan siswa dengan task dan ego orientation yang seimbang sebanyak 28 orang (12,6%). Siswa dengan motivasi belajar rendah sebanyak 16 siswa (7,2%), siswa dengan motivasi belajar sedang sebanyak 145 siswa (65,3%), dan siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi sebanyak 61 siswa (27,5%). Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi antara goal orientation dan motivasi belajar PJOK menunjukkan bahwa r (n= 222) = 0,457, sig. 0,000 sehingga hasil tersebut dinyatakan signifikan, hubungan tersebut dinyatakan linier dengan hasil uji F= 1,509, sig 0,051. Semakin besar goal orientation siswa maka semakin meningkat pula motivasi belajarnya. Besar hubungan kedua variabel tersebut sebesar 20,8% yang berasal dari koefisien determinasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara goal orientation dan motivasi belajar PJOK siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the goal orientation variable and the learning motivation variable of physical education among students. This type of research is a correlation study. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 15 Surabaya totaling 414 with a total sample of 222 (male: 96 and female: 126) using quota sampling following the results of calculations using the Slovin formula. The instrument used was a goal orientation questionnaire and learning motivation from the adoption using a Likert scale with 4 scales. Data analysis using product-moment correlation. The results showed that students with a task orientation were 46 students (20.7%), students with an ego orientation were 148 students (66.7%), and students with a balanced task and ego orientation were 28 people (12.6%). Students with low learning motivation were 16 students (7.2%), students with moderate learning motivation were 145 students (65.3%), and students with high learning motivation were 61 students (27.5%). Based on the results of the correlation test between goal orientation and learning motivation physical education shows that r (n = 222) = 0.457, sig. 0,000 so that the results are declared significant, the relationship is stated to be linear with the results of the test F = 1.509, sig 0.051. The greater the student's goal orientation, the greater the learning motivation. The magnitude of the relationship between the two variables is 20.8% which comes from the coefficient of determination. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between goal orientation and the learning motivation of students' physical education.
