IDENTIFIKASI MOTIVASI SISWI MENGIKUTI EKSTRAKURIKULER SEPAK BOLA DI SMP NEGERI 1 TULANGAN

Ekstrakurikuler sepak bola wanita sudah berjalan dengan optimal dan mengalami peningkatan peminat yang berdampak cukup besar pada kelancaran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kedepannya untuk mengembangkan prestasi yang dimiliki siswi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat motivasi siswi mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga sepak bola wanita di SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan studi survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswi yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler sepak bola. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 30 siswi. Variabel penelitiannya adalah motivasi siswi mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepak bola. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala likert yang berisi 30 item pernyataan dirancang untuk mengukur antusiasme siswi mengikuti ekstrakurikuler sepak bola. Angket diadopsi dari penelitian terdahulu milik Setiawan dengan hasil uji validitas menggunakan bantuan SPSS 16 dengan rumus korelasi product moment sebesar 0.553 dan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0.756. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif berbentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa motivasi siswi dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler sepak bola wanita di SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan termasuk pada kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 43%. Motivasi intrinsik dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 33% dan motivasi ekstrinsik dalam kategori tingkat sedang sebesar 37%. Terlihat bahwa motivasi siswi mengikuti aktivitas ekstrakurikuler olahraga sepak bola di SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh faktor motivasi intrinsik yang mendorong siswa mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepak bola.

Abstract

Women's soccer extracurricular has been running optimally and has increased enthusiasts which has a considerable impact on the smooth running of extracurricular activities in the future to develop student achievements. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of student motivation to participate in extracurricular activities for women's soccer at SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive with a survey study. The population in this study were students who took part in extracurricular football. The sample used is the entire population of 30 students. The research variable is the students' motivation to participate in extracurricular soccer activities. The data collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire containing 30 statement items designed to measure the enthusiasm of students in participating in soccer extracurricular activities. The questionnaire was adopted from Setiawan's previous research with the results of the validity test using the help of SPSS 16 with the product moment correlation formula of 0.553 and the reliability test with the Alpha Cronbach formula of 0.756. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results showed that the motivation of students in participating in extracurricular women's soccer at SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan was in the medium category with a percentage of 43%. Intrinsic motivation in the high category is 33% and extrinsic motivation in the medium category is 37%. It can be seen that the motivation of students to participate in soccer extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 1 Tulangan is largely influenced by intrinsic motivation factors that encourage students to participate in soccer extracurricular activities.
