HUBUNGAN TINGKAT SOSIAL EKONOMI TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA ANGKATAN 2017 JURUSAN PENDIDIKAN OLAHRAGA FIO UNESA

Hasil belajar yang baik dapat menjadi acuan keberhasilan suatu pembelajaran pada siswa. Hasil belajar dipengaruhi banyak faktor, salah satunya tingkat sosial dan ekonomi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  hubungan tingkat sosial ekonomi terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa angkatan 2017 Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga FIO UNESA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini tidak memberikan manipulasi atau perlakuan terhadap objek yang diteliti, data yang dipergunakan dikumpulkan untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel terkait. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain korelasional. Penelitian dilakukan dalam satu pertemuan, peneliti membagikan angket kepada responden secara daring melalui Google formulir. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2017 Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga sejumlah 174 orang yang mewakili seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga sebagai populasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat sosial-ekonomi mahasiswa dengan motivasi dan capaian hasil belajar mereka dengan hasil korelasi yang menunjukkan variabel yang diujikan sudah sesuai. Hal ini disebabkan adanya faktor tingkat kematangan dan kemandirian yang ada pada diri mahasiswa sehingga tidak mudah terpengaruh oleh lingkungannya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, kondisi sosial ekonomi tidak mempengaruhi motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa di Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga. Tidak adanya hubungan dapat dikarenakan faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Good learning outcomes can be a reference for the success of a learning in students. Learning outcomes are influenced by many factors, one of which is the social and economic level. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of socio-economic level to motivation and learning outcomes of 2017 students in the Department of Sports Education, FIO UNESA. The method used in this study is a type of quantitative research. This study does not provide manipulation or treatment of the object under study the data used is collected to determine the relationship between related variables. The research design used a correlation design. The study was conducted in one meeting, the researchers distributed questionnaires to respondents online via Google forms. The sample in this study was the 2017 students of the Department of Sports Education. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between the socio-economic level of students with their motivation and achievement of learning outcomes with correlation results indicating that the variables tested are appropriate. This is due to the level of maturity and independence factors that exist in students so they are not easily influenced by their environment. It can be concluded that socio-economic conditions do not affect the motivation and learning outcomes of students in the Department of Sports Education. The absence of a relationship can be due to other factors not examined in this study.
