PENERAPAN PERMAINAN KECIL ROUNDERS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN PJOK SELAMA PANDEMI CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19)

Pelaksanaan berbagai jenis permainan kecil termasuk rounders mampu meningkatkan keinginan dan dorongan untuk melakukan sesuatu dari peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Seiring bertambahnya keinginan dan dorongan tersebut, dapat dipastikan capaian akhir pembelajaran dapat bertambah.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan kecil rounders untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PJOK selama pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMPN 5 Gresik dengan jumlah 10 kelas (IX-A hingga IX-J) dengan sampel siswa kelas IX-I sebanyak 32 siswa (25 perempuan dan 7 laki-laki) yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui google form angket motivasi belajar. Instrumen penelitian mengadopsi angket motivasi belajar Taufik (2017) dengan hasil uji reliabilitas 0,878 dan telah dinyatakan valid oleh konten validiti ahli. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif statistik, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan Paired Sampel T-Test. Hasilnya adalah rata-rata tingkat motivasi belajar siswa saat pre-test sebesar 103,22, SD sebesar 10,478, tertinggi sebesar 122, terendah sebesar 69.  Sedangkan saat post-test rata-rata tingkat motivasi belajar sebesar 103,78, SD sebesar 11,370, tertinggi sebesar 126, terendah sebesar 78. Distribusi data dinyatakan normal (pretest p= 0,121>0,05, posttest p= 0,926>0,05). Varian data dinyatakan homogen (p= 0,420>0,05).  Nilai rata-rata dinyatakan meningkat sebesar 0,56 akan tetapi T-Test menunjukkan peningkatan tersebut tidak signifikan (t= 0,341, p= 0,736>0,05). Dari data-data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan kecil rounders tidak berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PJOK selama pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

The implementation of various types of small games including rounders can increase the desire and encouragement to do something from students in the learning process. As the desire and encouragement increases, it is certain that the final achievement of learning can increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the small rounders game to increase students' learning motivation in PJOK learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental approach with a quantitative approach. The research design used a one group pre-test post-test design. The population of the study was grade IX students of SMPN 5 Gresik with a total of 10 classes (IX-A to IX-J) with a sample of 32 students in class IX-I (25 girls and 7 boys) selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data was collected through the google learning motivation questionnaire form. The research instrument adopted the Taufik learning motivation questionnaire (2017) with a reliability test result of 0.878 and has been declared valid by expert validity content. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, normality test, homogeneity test and Paired Sample T-Test. The result is that the average level of student learning motivation during the pre-test is 103.22, SD is 10.478, the highest is 122, the lowest is 69. Meanwhile, during the post-test the average level of learning motivation is 103.78, SD is 11.370, the highest was 126, the lowest was 78. The distribution of the data was normal (pretest p= 0.121 > 0.05, posttest p = 0.926 > 0.05). The data variance was declared homogeneous (p= 0.420>0.05). The average value was stated to increase by 0.56 but the T-Test showed that the increase was not significant (t = 0.341, p = 0.736> 0.05). From these data, it can be concluded that the small rounders game has no effect on increasing students' learning motivation in PJOK learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
