PENGARUH MODEL EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR LAY UP SHOOT DI SDN

Pendidikan jasmani merupakan komponen penting dalam kurikulum pendidikan, terutama ditingkat sekolah dasar. Olahraga yang dipelajari di sekolah dasar salah satunya adalah bola basket, yang melibatkan berbagai keterampilan dasar, seperti lay up shoot. Penguasaan keterampilan dasar dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran untuk pendidikan jasmani yang harus mempertimbangkan karakteristik kognitif, sosial, dan emosional siswa ditingkat ini. Dengan menggunakan model explicit instruction ini dapat memberikan pemahaman keterampilan lay up shoot dengan efektif, terstruktur, sistematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model explicit instruction terhadap hasil belajar lay up shoot di SDN Rungkut Kidul 2, yang dapat memberikan kontribusi baru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengajarkan hasil belajar lay up shoot pada siswa jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar yang sebelumnya penelitian yang menggunakan model explicit instruction ini hanya pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one grup sistem pretest-posttest. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metodestatistik non-parametrik dan pengujian binomial. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan adanya peningkatan yang segnifikan hasil belajar siswa pada keterampilan lay up shoot setelah meggunakan model explicit instruction. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan adanya peningkatan rata rata sebesar 46.6 atau 131.82% dari nilai pre-test (35.2) menjadi post-test (81.6). Oleh karena itu, model explicit instruction menjadi alternative pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif dan terstruktur pada keterampilan lay up shoot bola basket dengan penggunaan model explicit instruction seperti pengenalan tujuan, penjelasan materi, penyusunan pembelajaran, dan pemberian latihan terstruktur, dan umpan balik.

Abstract

Physical education is an important component in the education curriculum, especially at the elementary school level. One of the sports studied in elementary school is basketball, which involves a variety of basic skills, such as the lay up shoot. Mastery of basic skills requires learning methods for physical education that must consider the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics of students at this level. Using this explicit instruction model can provide an understanding of lay up shoot skills in an effective, structured, systematic manner. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the explicit instruction model on the learning outcomes of lay up shoot at SDN Rungkut Kidul 2, which can make a new contribution in developing effective learning methods to stop learning outcomes of lay up shoot at elementary school level students who previously conducted research using this explicit instruction model only at the junior high school and senior high school levels. This study used a one group pretest-posttest system design. Data analysis was performed using nonparametric statistical methods and binomial testing. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes in lay up shoot skills after using the explicit instruction model. This is indicated by an average increase of 46.6 or 131.82% from the pre-test (35.2) to post-test (81.6). Therefore, the explicit instruction model is an alternative to an effective and structured learning approach to lay-up shoot basketball skills by using explicit instruction models such as the introduction of objectives, explanation of material, preparation of learning, and provision of structured exercises, and feedback.
